I thought since we're all still getting to know each other it might be good fun to see what we all look like. You don't have to post a picture if you don't want, but if you do - make sure it really is one of you - no one likes being lied to.



I'm afraid that's the only digital picture I have of me taken when I was sixteen- I don't look like that anymore - I've got softly permed and slightly lighter hair now, I'm thinner than that and my eyes aren't as small as that picture makes them look!

You see mine every day, whether you like it or not!

I took it in January, though, so my roots have come out a little more...

And I don't usually dress up or wear makeup, either.

Oh, but here's a pic of me when I was 14, if you'd like to see the difference. (It's very clear that I dyed my hair!)

I think this one is from November or December of last year, I did it after I cut my hair like Mandy Moore's (what? I totally needed a change and get rid of all the dead ends)... Hope I don't crack your monitors...

Thanks so much! It's one of my favs (I'm not a professional photographer, by the way, or anything of that nature... I have a friend who is a shutterbug... So I got one of those Cannon digital cameras and have out grown it, but it still takes a good pix...

Yeah the zoo is in the GTA... It's really great! I got some amazing shots during that trip in February with my friends (it isn't an everyday thing...) That was the Indo-Malaya section of the zoo. It's a fair sized area with Lions (I have a cool pix with them in the snow), elephants, giraffes, zebras, polar bears, etc... :D

Hey, all of you look nice! lol. Yeah, that picture of the zoo is very, VERY nice. J.J., do you live in Canada? If so, cool, lol. I have a friend in Alberta and Ottawa. So yeah, you all look very nice. :) You guys all look very young too. :D

Well, I live in austin, Texas. Very nice city.. Great night life, lots of shopping, political.. perfect city for me.

Anyways, I think if you want to post pictures, I would just post them in the "Other" section of the media section, which is where you obviously have been posting, lol. I don't think there would be anywhere else to post, except maybe in the "Other" part of the "other" category, lol. lots of "others."

The young thing isn't such a bad thing, but when you attend an event (wearing a white shirt over a black tank top and a pair of black slacks and a Dead Like Me hat [to keep the sun off my face]) the chick asks me "how old are you?" and I’m like "25, may I ask why." and she replies with "well I thought you were 18, and 18 and under get in free"... Darn it! :D

Texas sounds interesting though... I don't know too much about the States considering...

lol. Yeah, that's very true.. Like my friend, who is like 16.. They constantly ask "Do you need a kids meal." It's like "wow, she's 16!"

I don't mind the kids meal... Just because I can't finish a Big Mac or whatever anymore... and the toy is just a bonus (but my father refuses to ask for me.. Hey it's not for him right?) and I always give the toys to the kids anyways...

lol, very true. I used to be able to eat the "mighty kids meals" or whatever, but the drinks were too small, lol. Now I get the number 11, AKA 10 nuggets, medium drink, large fries I think.

Sounds like something my brother could get away with. He usually gets a five (quarter pounder with cheese, med fries, and med drink) with an extra hamburger... he has a hollow leg.

Of course they do 10 nuggets! lol, i personally miss the 6 piece nugget meal, and now if I want to only get 6 pieces, i have to get the freaking might kids meal.. yeah, a smal drink, and small fries. I would prefer all medium, lol

I guess since we lost our McDonalds (due to the pizza issue with Pizza Pizza [I think it's good thing ;)] I don't crave it)

Now we have a Tim Hortons!! Yey... Well except the fact that I've only had one thing from there...

They moved to another plaza... Which for me was a good thing... I swear that they're like cigarette companies and putting something that's extra addictive in their food... Once it's taken away, and you don't smell it, you don't want it anymore.

Yup, that's very true. :) Thankfully, the State of Texas wants to increase cigerrete prices by a dollar.. Hopefully it'll stop smokers, but it could be bad for families with kids, or people who are very addicted to it.. We'll just have to see. Anyways, yeah, idk what I'd do without a Mickey D's.

Convenience store owners went to Queen's Park today to protest the Liberal gov't increasing the price, claiming that their lives are at risk (most thieves take cigarettes along with cash)... and the gov't wants the store owners to pay for the new out of sight casing that can cost up to 5 grand...

Wow. :) Now, I'm personally a huge Democrat, which would be Liberal, but American Democrats are much more different than Canadian Liberals. It seems that the Liberal Party of Canada seems to be corrupt, lol.

Anyways, wow.. I can't believe they protest. Well, they need to raise the prices.. Maybe it'll stop smokers.. They raised the taxes I think a year ago, and now smoking is at an all time low in America. :)

I think making most public places smoke free has started that ball rolling... However, as there are people who continue onwards with the whole smoking thing (they put a dent in our health care system)... So why not have a tax that's put for that use... In theory that would be a good thing, but in practice it would never happen... Oh well...

About politics (not a good thing to start with me ;)) The Liberal party was overthrown (so to speak) by a non-confidence vote sometime late last year and we voted this past Jan and got stuck with Harper (conservative party) who's really not much better... What put the Liberals there is the whole sponsorship scandal (once again connected to Quebec.. and that's the Coles notes on the subject).

As I've said many times, give me a party that isn't corrupt and I'd gladly vote for it... Till then I don't see them blowing up Parliament to create said result, although that might be interesting, because it would probably work;) ~ Most will get the reference...

It was taken in June at the Gaylaxicon in Toronto (I'm on the Ellen Muth forum as well and got wind of it... Being that I live in Toronto, I thought what the heck, and my brother soooo wanted to meet her--> I went for 'moral' support... And he wouldn't come with me to meet Mr. Patinkin... What a guy eh??



I'm still in the 'hiding' stage I guess... I didn't realise how hard it is to get used to being somewhat 'normal' in the weight dept (feeling healthy is such a good thing :D ... All my clothes are getting too big, as you can tell (but my face seems to stay kinda cheekish, maybe if I stop eating all together that would go away too <j.k.>)...

Dude! It's a once a month facial and products that cost a pretty penny (man I so sound like Daisy on DLM... And I'm not her).

I used to be a wash my face with water and that be the routine... But when I worked at the drugstore the cosmetician said that you have to take care of your skin because once you hit 20 it's all downhill from there (and *ahem, I'm 26)... Besides, I have a job that puts me in the public eye (somewhat... as men are far more observant than we give them credit for)... it's that and I like to get my nails done (only because I can't paint them myself and have them look good)...

So as previously stated, I will update the horrid 'real life' me.

The camera I'm using there is his old one, I really had no idea how to use it, but some of the shots were pretty good considering that fact… I’m actually going to buy it from him because it really takes a nice picture….
