TV Week: Earning Respect

Poor Fly! Assigned the unenviable task of teaching the Solar Blue surfers the 'basics', she's hurt when she overhears them questioning her leadership skills and referring to her training as 'kindergarten'.
Fly (Sophie Luck) knows they want Simmo (Martin Lynes) as coach, but her attempt to explain this to him falls on deaf ears - until the young surfers' disregard for Fly's advice puts their lives in danger!
To teach them a valuable lesson, Simmo organises a surprise surf-off between the students and Fly. Unfortunately, his news isn't well received.
"Simmo, it's impossible!" a shocked Fly says when they're alone. "I can't win against six people."
"Not with that attitude, you can't," challenges Simmo. "Maybe that's part of the problem. The others can only respect you as much as you respect yourself."
Will Fly turn up for the competition, or leave for good?
Also this week, Heath (Adam Saunders) applies for a job as a photographer with Stax surf magazine - on the Gold Coast. Will Heath say goodbye to Solar Blue, too?

Just one problem with this episode. Why does Fly think she can't beat six teenagers when she has a year up of professional training on them and more competition experience? It should be easy for her. She's beaten more experienced surfers in competition before, including last year's group.
