I bet that 9 max/38 AR jewel is worth a ton. Useful mods that don't increase lvl reqs make LLD jewels absolutely skyrocket in value. PC it over at LLD101.

Now I'm curious about this...I found a 215 def 45 res all white vortex the other day...and when I tried to trade it, I got lol'ed because it wasn't eth. After an hour of trying, the highest offer I got was a pul...I'd rather keep it than trade such a rare item for a measly pul.

So maybe this is a case where realm prices are different. Or, I could have gotten a bunch of bad apples, I'm not sure.

Exile has a self repair mod. So it would work better in an Eth pally shield.

Exactly. What I don't get, though, is that I would surely value res over ethness in a shield. What the does 100 def really mean in the long term? Ah well....I've tossed on my uber smiter's switch to pdiamond while he casts life tap, at least it will get some use. Have you had any offers?

I've made a note about the high res pally shields in the price guide thread. They usually go for pul or less, but sometimes you'll find someone willing to pay an exorbitant amount for it. I'm not really sure why there's such a huge value discrepancy, but it exists for sure.

What's the level req on that? If it's 30, that might be worth a decent amount like an um or so. Take it to LLD101.

The jewel's not worth anything, really - maybe a few pgems since it's decently useful. I fit were rare and required lvl 18, though...

IK armor is about a mal, I think.

IK armor can be as high as gul on certain days....depends who you are trading with.

Average cost = 2xMal methinks.

It got the "bad" +max mod with a high req, and it's not even +15. Craft material I'd say, unless you popped it into a Bonehew for a merc or something equally inane.

I'll have to agree. Though a great high defense armor, you've got 2 things knocking it. 4 sockets and it's a medium weight armor, which means higher strength requirement.

Most players prefer their 4 socket armors to be lightweight, for lower strength requirements while still getting high defense.

The only exception to this, that I know of, is 3 socket armors. These are usually used for Enigmas, so they don't care as much if the armor is going to slow them down. Teleporting doesn't effect stamina and the type of armor weight doesn't effect tele speed. And players are more willing to accept higher str reqs and bulkier armors to compensate for more def.

It would also be ignored as a merc armor because it's not ethereal, with even higher def.

The same def in a lightweight armor would be valued from um+ - mal+. Depending on which lightweight armor and the def.

Eth Reaper's Toll could probably fetch you a mal. Ethereal Edge is always ethereal (and worth next to nothing). ;)

No, but they're still decent for rolling. They aren't worth much, though.

Probably value of runes in it so I would say UM or a little more.

Thank you stranger ;) Think Um+Lem is asking too much? I guess I'm just considering the fact it's an armor for a melee character and the requirements aren't that high on the armor, but the the defense on it is still quite nice.

UM + Lem is not too much, I would start with UM+Pul but dont know if you'll get it.

Personally unless you need the UM I would keep it.
