Yes BB members, it's that time of year when the beefy man in red known as Santa giebs free to all the good boys and girls out there. Unfortunately, there is no known e-santy, so we propose a Secret Santa giving amongst the members and mods of the Bazaar. Here's how it's going to work:

1) If you're interested, post your name (and chosen realm/ladder or non for those of you who play on more than one) here;

2) We mods will shake it up, and randomly assign you another BB member;

3) You should put the item on a mule account, and PM a mod the acc name and PW to be passed on to the member you've been assigned; mods will be given a realm to take care of, so you'll know who is responsible for passing on the information;

4) Feel them Christmas vibes.

So that's it! You are only expected to give as much as you like (but, well, keep the "el" givings to a minimum if possible), and you can only receive if you sign up to be someone's Santa. Deadlines to sign up are 11 PM US Eastern time on the 13th of December, hope you'll all be up for it!

:blink: I'm a bit confused. Are we going to know who we are giving a gift to, and who we are recieving a gift from? I think we should know so we would know who is the cheapo of the BB forum.

We're depending on the good of the people on this one. If someone signs up, they had better be able to deliver something at least moderately useful. If everyone donates something they'd be happy to get, we shouldn't have a problem.

Well, once we know how many people from your realm have signed on, we could get you to donate that many gifts, one per person :) Otherwise, we'll have more gifts than recipients.

Truth is, I wouldn't mind at all if I weren't to receive anything, or if my secret santa gave me a lump of coal (perfect gems?). It's not like there's much I'm lacking to fulfill my d2 playing.

As much as i like the idea, i don't think i will be participating.

US East Ladder: I only play occasional over there, which means no items, which means a sort of ripping off people.

Europe non-ladder: allready given away most items

Europe ladder: well, the people i know who are playing ladder are far more better equipped then me, so it would feel also like ripping off.

Well, even though the cutoff date is tonight, I doubt we'll be seeing too much more in the way of signing up. I've listed the participants in post number 2, so you can see who's signed up in your realm. Erm, Slayerman and sambo, I don't know how to break this to you, but things might be a little lonesome on your realms...

I'll make an announcement to see if there are any last-minute signups, but we should expect this to be pretty much final. We'll be in touch :santa:
