Hey everyone, since there isn't a fan-fic here, I decided to post mine. I couldn't really think of a perfect title but oh well.

When doing your best is what you succeed in, it will lead you to a better future. If one person or event happens during your lifetime of fame, it can crush everything, every single piece of fortune reality.
Chapter 1
“You don’t know how long I have wanted to touch your lips and hold you tight,
Ohh,” she began singing; walking closer to the center of the stage. Her blonde, curly locks shinned as the lights enclosed her. The sound of the violins behind her danced as she sang to the music.
“You don’t know how long I have waited and I was going tell you tonight. But the secret is still my own, and my love for you is still unknown…Alone.” Anthony sat with the rest of the group in the red room waiting until it was their turn to face the music. He watched Constantine’s lips move to the words as Carrie sang. His hands began to sweat knowing that it was almost time for him to go on, even though Carrie was the second performer of the night.
“‘Til now I always got by on my own.
I never really cared until I met you,
And now it chills me to the bone
How do I get you alone?
Til now I always got by on my own.
I never really cared until I met you,
How do I get you…?
How do I get you?
How do I get you alone?” That was it; she was done with her piece. The last note made everyone stand up in the red room. Crowds of people were cheering her on. Loud screams and signs of Carrie’s name and the other contestants filled the stadium. It started to quiet down when the judges started to speak.
Anthony shook his whole body when he stood up. His nerves were now controlling his body. “Do what I do, breathe. It’ll make the nerves go away,” Nadia Turner, another contestant of the show told him the first time he met her. He took a deep breath and began inhaling.
“More American Idol, after the break,” Ryan said, in front of the cameras as the comments from the judges were over. As soon the commercials went on, Carrie came running towards the rest of the contestants, trying not to trip and fall since she was wearing high-heals. Constantine was the first to comment her performance since he stood first in front of the door of the room. “Thank god that was over.” She said as she sat down in between Anthony and Anwar. Breathe Anthony, breathe, Anthony kept on saying inside his head, paying no attention to the rest of his competitors. He closed his eyes allowing his body to sway back and forth. “When doing your best is what you succeed in, it will lead you to a better future,” Anthony mumbled underneath his breath. His mother would always say that to him every night of his childhood.
Now, everyone that was before him went on stage trying to give a message out to the audience- I want to be your next American Idol. Of course Anthony wanted to win everyone’s heart but doubted that he was going to be the next American Idol since he was competing against excellent vocalists. “Don’t say that Ant man, you know you’re just as good as everyone else,” Bo told him before. The music began playing which made Anthony’s heart pound louder than ever. Lights and cameras focused on him. Even though this wasn’t his first time performing, it still made him nervous.
What a AWESOME short fic. For a moment, I forgot a fan wrote it, and I thought Anthony actually did! GREAT job!
