FINALLY! IT COMES! Over a month late, here is my Idols '05 Review. Please note a few things:
1.) Mandy = Kat
2.) This is a direct copy and paste from my journal, which is why it may seem a bit odd. O.o And you might read some stuff you don't care about at first.
3.) If you still haven't gone to a concert yet (are they even still playing?) this'll contain spoilers for thou unspoiled eyes.

Today’s the day! Or, was. O.o This journal is over a month late. I’m so bad. x.x

We woke up pretty early (well, Mandy did. I woke up later XD I was like, “...Wtf? Did the air mattress eat her?” I was a bit groggy. XD) and had breakfast ‘n stuff. Food! o.o; We kinda chilled for a while in our PJs (I was just so comfy) and talked about the concert ‘n whatnot. We were practically hyper for the entire day. XD And the previous day, Mandy had surprised me with an Addicted to Anthony band! I was like, *jawdrop* I hadn’t expected one, nor did I pay for one. So I was very happeh. ^.^

Eventually we did get dressed in our concert wear and squealed at our lime green shirts ‘n stuff. Haha. Boy were we excited. It was all I was thinking about, that’s for sure. Then at an almost last minute thing, we decided to make a poster for me. Thankfully they had some poster board! Yay. If it were at my house, my mom would have given us some napkins and said ‘have fun’. XD

So with Courtney’s markers and Mandy’s poster board, my Idols poster was born. We eventually decided to put “I came all the way from Japan to see the Idols” and messed around with the placing a bit. (as you all should have seen in a journal entry a couple days ago; the picture of it was there)

And seriously, we finished it like, LAST MINUTE. Mr. Buck asked us if we were ready and we’re like, “AH! Almost!” Haha. Eventually we just put it in the car and said our goodbyes ’n stuff to the group staying behind. So we hopped in the car and off we went! We left later then planned, but it’s all good.

On the way there we listened to Clay and the Idol’s showstoppers, to get us in the mood. Heck, we were already in the mood! XD Excited we were. I told Mr. Buck a little about Okinawa too.

Finally, about an hour later we got to the theater and got all hyper again ’cause we saw Poptarts everywhere. Or maybe that was Mr. Buck. I think he has a fetish for Poptarts. XDDD J/k!

We drove around the theater, looking for a parking spot and figured out where the buses were and made a note to come back there before and after the concert. XD Eventually we found a spot to park (too much money! Crazy! x.o) and got all our stuff out of the trunk and started to walk around the theater, lugging it around and stuff. XD Mandy took a picture of the Poptarts truck (turns out Poptarts was the one hosting the tour or whatever) and we eyed the merchandise, picking out what stuff we would buy after the show. Then we decided to walk around to the back of the theater where the buses were parked and we met up with some fellow concert-goers and they immediately knew we were Fedors from our lime green. XD ‘S pretty cool. I showed them my sign when they asked what it said and they were like, “O.O We’re sticking with you!” Haha. Too bad my sign didn’t make the Idols actually wanna meet me. I wonder if they even believed me. oo; I shoulda written some Japanese on there.

So we chilled out there for a while, talking to the girls and screaming to Anwar and Nikko when they walked out. Haha. But then we figured they weren’t going to come out before the concert so we left and walked around some more. We stopped at this radio stand where they were giving out free stuff and told us if we answered some rap trivia correctly, we could get a free t-shirt. Mr. Buck told them that we were here for the Idols concert and that it would be better if they asked us some AI trivia. Well, I know little to squat about AI even if I do love it (stupid Japan ;-; ) so I just shut up and let Mandy answer. XD The chick thought for a moment then asked, “What eighties song did Carrie Underwood remake?” Mandy instantly said “Alone.” The girl was like, “Um...That’s not the one I was thinking of.” Mandy and I exchanged looks and I could tell she was baffled. Which made me baffled because Mandy is like, teh Queen of AI trivia. Mr. Buck asked which song she was thinking of and the girl said “Total Eclipse of the Heart”. Mandy went “Oooh, Carrie didn’t do that song, Jessica Sierra did!” ...I bust out laughing. XDD I was so proud of her! Everyone at the stand laughed too but I think the girl was a bit embarrassed for making that mistake. And they gave her a t-shirt. I was like, “Hell yea! Kat knows all!” Well, I didn’t say it but I was pretty proud. ^.^

We ambled around out front for a while longer and Mandy got her tour program along with some other free stuff. I got a free AI magazine and some Constantine stuff. (Yay! Connie!) We hiked back up to the car to put the extra stuff in the trunk and to hide our cameras, just in case. Teehee. It was funny. My big bulky camera could hardly go anywhere without being noticed.

Sooo, around...some...time...O.o we headed to the entry doors and flashed our tickets and pockets and stuff to the lady. She kept telling people to empty out their pockets, purses, everything. I showed her my stuff (and sign, which she let us take in) then waited for Mandy and Mr. Buck to come through. ...She didn’t check Mandy’s purse. We kinda looked at each other and walked through the other doors into the theater, then bust out laughing. Mandy’s all, “I can’t believe she forgot to check my purse!” Really, she was making such a big deal about it. (the lady, I mean) So even if we weren’t allowed to take cameras in (which we were so it didn’t matter), Mandy would have gotten hers in anyway. Which reminds me of something Mandy told me earlier that day; about how some chick snuck her camera into a concert by putting it in a tampon box. XDD We thought it was a good idea but couldn’t find a tampon box small enough to fit in the purse but big enough to fit the camera. Oh well. XD

So we walked through some place where the bathrooms and food were then again showed our tickets to some other lady who pointed out our seats. Some guy who worked there started talking to Mr. Buck and I think they both agreed that they’d rather not be there. XD Before the guy left, he even gave Mr. Buck some earplugs! XD

Mandy and I left real quick then came back (bathroom!) and the lady who checked tickets said she remembered us! And we were the first! Yay! XD

So we sat there for a while. Impatiently. At some point in time, a guy dressed in a Poptart suit came out and I freaked. I wanted to push him down so bad. XDDD If Sere was there, I’m sure we would have convinced Mandy to come with us to push the Poptart down. Ahahaha. XDD

Yup. Mr. Buck got hungry so he got some nachos and I got the last bag of cotton candy from this sweet old guy. Was it the last bag? I unno. But it was cotton candy. And cotton candy is gewd. x)

Waited some more...Then commercials came on! So yay. So not. e.e Oh! I also figured out (via Mandy) that the theater where the concert was was actually NOT a theater, but a HOCKEY RINK turned into a theater. I wondered why it looked so...odd. XD Silly me. So we watched commercials for a while. The frozen Poptarts commercials? Yea, those pwn. I love them. Then an American Idol commercial (*insert screams here*) and some other stuff. Yup.

THEN! OMGOMGOMGOMG*flipsout* ...More commercials! XD

No, really folks.

IT GOT DARK! Screams, all around the theaHOCKEYRINKter, just erupted and people started going crazy. Nothing happened for a while besides people screaming (why do they scream so much anyway? there always is someone screaming) then a low sound. It went on for a while then...BOOM! American Idol opening song! And they just lost control. *snort* I gotta admit though, I was going crazy too. I thought it was a very good way to open the concert. The two screens on either side of the stage were playing the opening theme too. *nodnod*

Then BOOM! all lights on the stage and there was Jessica Sierra, her back towards us and posing. Right when the music stopped and the lights were on her, girl took off. She shook her thang, too! XD I was kinda surprised at her outfit though. o.o It looked like her shirt was just about ready to pop open. I wanted to yell, “BUTTON UP!” Ahaha. >>; But, she did do a very good job. She looked pretty from where I was sitting. And she danced! w00t! I don’t remember what she sang (not to mention I knew like, none of the names of the songs they all sang) but according to Mandy’s journal, she sang “The Boy’s Are Back In Town” and another song. I’ll just go with her. XD

And btw, since I really don’t remember much of the concert anymore (my fault! bad me), I’ll be basing this all off what Mandy said. XD

So Jessica finished her songs and introduced Anwar. Woooo! *dance* He did such a good job. I do luvvles the Anwar. But see, I didn’t take like a billion pictures because I wanted to save the film for the others (unlike Mandy who was going trigger happy next to me. >>; Grr. *jealous**wishes I had had mom’s digital camera instead of my crappy one* ) Anyways! He sang “House Is Not A Home” (which I sang with because I knew the song! from the CD!) and “What A Wonderful World”. Good job, boy. *glomps him*

After Anwar was finished, he introduced Constantine to us, which Mandy noted was out of order (and even I knew it! I didn’t exactly know who was next, but I knew it wasn’t Connie. but w/e.). And I FREAKED out. Constantine is like, my favorite, tied with Anthony and Bo and Carrie. ...O.o; I’m definitely a Con-Fed though. *nodnod* I almost went trigger happy like Many but forced myself to calm down so I would have pictures for the others. But man I was screaming. He did such an AWESOME job. And I’m not just saying that ‘cause I luff him. >>; He sang “My Funny Valentine” (which I recently found out was originally sung by Frank Senatra ((omg,frankieee!*melt*)) ) and a song from his new CD (which I HAVE to get), “Nights On Broadway” (Mandy thinks) and another song which I know and love and sang with him but I can’t remember the title right now. I don’t think Mandy recognized it. Oh! I think it was “Too Hot To Handle”. Something to that affect. Good song. I screamed louder when he sang it. I did think about yelling “I love you!” to him like I did to Anthony, but some other chick yelled it before I did and I didn’t want to sound like I was copying anyone. ‘Cause I’m like that.

Sooo...After Constantine left (*faint from lack of air*), Nikko came out so I started screaming again because I just luvvles him too. And MAN did he do a good job. He sang “Part Time Lover” (*officially loves that song*), “Incomplete”, and “Rock Your Body”. Justin Timberlake song?! Well, it has a good beat. And Nikko mah boy, he did a good job. AND HE FREAKY-DICKY DANCED! I was practically going insane. And I can’t figure out why I didn’t take any pictures of him! *whiiiiine* He did such a good job. I was so proud of him. And like Mandy said, he tossed his hat into the audience. Waaah, I want AI hats. ._. One of these days, I swear. I’m going to get their hats. *determined*

After Nikko came teh Scott. I always have liked his voice, yanno. Can’t say I care for the way he acts or dresses, but hey. Scott sang “Against All Odds” and something else, but he did a good job. *nodnod* Then Jessica came back out, decked in a purty pink dress and they sang “Total Eclipse of the Heart”. How AWESOME was that?! Too awesome. I looooved it. Good job you two!

Those two left the stage and baboom! came Nadia. I was surprised, that’s for sure. I didn’t know she could play a guitar. And she started carrying around the mic stand and I was like, “CONSTANTINEANDBOWANNABE! >.<!” But yea. She did a good job. Was really active. According to Mandy, she sang “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me” and two other songs. She even stripped on the stage! XD But of course, there was another dress underneath. I think the entire stadium would have blown up if she actually stripped. *snort* And I personally thought her second outfit was worse then Jessica’s, but it stayed with her and didn’t fly up anywhere, so I’ll let her go. It just looked ready to fall off though. x.x;

After Nadia was OMG, INTERMISSION! YAY! >>; But it was certainly interesting. The Poptart came back and once again I was taken with the urge to push it over and more boring commercials came on. And someone had a beach ball which was bounced all over the place. Beach balls sure get around. oo; It even came to me! I hit it and...hit some guy in the face. DAMN. x.x I wasn’t sure whether to be horrified or laughing. I apologized and stuff and he seemed ok about it, but I got the feeling that he was annoyed. He didn’t show it or anything, but I just felt kinda weird. *shrug*

After the excitement of the beach ball died down (I think at one point at time, two had actually shown up but they both disappeared soon), we waited for a while longer then the lights went off again and UP! went the screams. More commercials and AI stuff then enter Anwar, stage right! Well, it was stage right for me. I think it was stage left for Anwar. Anyways, he brought out a keyboard with him and played “Supersition” on it (while singing, duh). Boy did a good job! *nodnod* I like that song. Then Vonzell came onto the stage and the two sang together; what the song was, I dunno. Teh boy left and Vonzell sang “Best Of My Love” and “I’m Every Woman”. Of course, I think Whitney Houston’s version is better, but she did a good job. It was Vonzell who had the group of friends and family to our right, right? They were going crazy. oo; It made me smile though. ^^

Theeeeeen...*drumroll* ANTHONY! *screamfaint* Mandy and I just went completely crazy. We were jumping all over the place, screaming, taking pictures...Yup. Good stuff. And MAN I luff that kid’s pants. I am SO going to steal them. Bwahaha. Anyways! He sang “Everytime You Go Away”, which I personally think he did a better job than doing it live then on the CD. Don’t kill me! I just don’t like the song. I really don’t. I heard the original version and I liked it less! I think Anthony is capable of so much better. But really, he did a good job. Numerous times during his songs I yelled “I love you” (much like Mandy XD) and was waving my hands around in classic “I luv u” form. Haha. He also sang a Marc Anthony song (which I should look up; I’m sure I’d recognize the lyrics), and “I Got You”. He did such an excellent job on every song. And out of all, he was the most friendly! Meaning he interacted with the peanut gallery a little more than the others. He even got down to the floor level and walked in front of the front row peoples! I was like ‘GRR! WE SHOULD BE UP THERE!’ Plus, he was always waving and blowing kisses ‘n stuff. I think I blew a couple back. O.o Not that he could see them or anything. Just because I was caught in the moment. XD

‘N after our angel left, my boo came out! BO! *snort* I went crazy all over again. And don’t kill me (again), but I think Bo sounds better live as well. Maybe it’s just me. O.o He sang “I Don’t Want To Be” (and let the audience sing it too!), “Vehicle”, and another song. He did such a good job. Like Constantine (and Nadia, grr) the mic stand was glued to his hand. AND I WANT HIS FLIP-FLOPS! And sunglasses. *nodnod* But yes. He did a very good job. *Bo fan too**doesn’t know the name of it*

Finally, introducing season four’s American Idol, the one America voted for: CARRIE UNDERWOOD! *cheer* She is definitely worthy of her title. *nodnod* Excellent job. In her cute little cowgirl getup. Teehee. ^.^ She even took off her plaid shirt and revealed another cute shirt underneath it! Woo! Carrie sang “Sin Wagon”, “Inside Your Heaven”, and “Alone” (Mandy was happy ^^). Bo came out again with his guitar and someone gave Carrie her own guitar and stool and they sang “God Bless The Broken Road”. And if I’m not mistaken, I think they sang “Sweet Home Alabama” together too. That may have been with the entire group though. *shrug*

At the end of one of her songs, the rest of the AI gang came trooping out on the stage and everyone went crazy all over again, including me. XD They did an ensemble, “Somebody To Lean On” (a song I happen to love) then left. Sad we were. Dark it was. People left they did. But I knew it was too good to be true. Tehn...BOOM! Tehy back! Screams there were. Mandy calls it a curtain call, I call it teasing. ^^; They sang “Rockin’ In The USA” and maybe this is when they sang “Sweet Home Alabama”, I don’t really remember. But yup. They came back, sang, bowed, left. *screeeam*

...We were just about deaf and mute. XD

We left, trying to avoid the crowd (which is impossible) and headed outside where we stood around for a moment while Mr. Buck went to get some free stuff and then Mandy headed to the merchandise table, which was already CHOCK FULL of people. @.@ *hates crowds very much* I went over with her even though I didn’t plan on buying anything (I’m weird like that) and waited for her while she finally got her poster. It took to freaking long for those people to work. They needed at least two more people behind the stand. I was getting annoyed. Plus the chick smoking right in front of me didn’t help. I wanted to yell at her to stop smoking cancer but I don’t like being spontaneously rude, especially to people I don’t know.

FINALLY, Mandy got her stuff and we headed back towards Mr. Buck who had found free candy and Poptarts. Me thinks he was very happy. XD He kept stopping at random boxes on the way to the back of the building to get more. Haha.

So when we got to the back where the buses were, there were people there. Lots. x_x Like I’ve said, I don’t like crowds. One bit. But we squeezed ourselves in there and they told me to open my sign which I didn’t want to since no one was out yet, but did anyway. People at the front of the crowd glanced back and read it, like oo;. YEA, THAT’S RIGHT. I’M FROM JAPAN. BELIEVE IT. >>; Ok, I’m technically not from Japan, but I live there. Here. Whatever. :p

Yup...We waited a long time. At a few points, I even wondered if they were going to come out. It was tiresome.

BUT WORTH THE WAIT!

Scott came out first (some of them were hanging around the buses, as if teasing us) accompanied with some dude. We screamed. I didn’t really care to get his autograph but whatever. I didn’t get it anyway. >.< I practically shoved the sign in his face and he didn’t see it. Ahh. Oh well.

Again, I’m just going by what Mandy said because I can’t remember squat. x.x

After Scott followed Nadia (no autograph), Constantine (*scream* autograph!), Carrie (*scream* autograph!), Anthony (*scream* autograph!), Nikko (*scream* autograph!), Vonzell (woo, autograph), Bo (no autograph ;-; ). I distinctly remember Constantine taking my poster and trying to open it. Ahahaha. I almost died of amusement and embarrassment. Poor fella. XD But he finally got it open and looked at it for a second. He seemed wowed. Yay! I hope he actually believed me. x.o I don’t really remember the others who signed it besides Anthony, because I was in the back and Mr. Buck was the one reaching over heads with my poster and dangling it down in front of them. XD Some random lady even helped hold it up. Woo! XD

It was then I noticed that Mr. Buck and Mandy weren’t near me so I looked around then spotted them towards the thinner part of the crowd where Anthony was going. I squealed and hurried over just in time to see Mandy give her ATA band to him. She quickly explained about the site and stuff and he looked at it and said, “Wow.” He looked flattered and amazed. I don’t think he really thought he would have fan sites made after him. XD So I excitedly showed him my bracelet then asked for a hug, which he accepted. *melt* He smelled...SO good. Mmmm. Lucky Carrie. *snort* Mr. Buck intervened and asked if he could get a picture of him with Mandy and I so nice ol’ Anthony wrapped his arms around us and smiled for teh camera. I remember his hand was on my lower back. AAaaahahahhahaa. *near hysterics* I don’t think I registered where his hand was until we were in the car driving back ‘cause it suddenly hit me that his arm was near my waist. I told Mandy and we squealed together. (‘N I’m not overreacting or making this goofy stuff up. >>; ) Teehee. Fangirl me. SCARY. o.o

Btw. MANDY! You neeeeed to send me those pictures! From the concert, SeaWorld, and Disney World! I would like to show my mom! Please and thank you! <33

After that, Anwar and Jessica finally came out but they only stayed out for like, two minutes. Didn’t get their autographs. Oh well. ._.

Eventually, all the Idols were gone so we decided to leave as well. We were bushed. And hyper! Oh so hyper. Squealing all the way to the car. *nodnod* Oh yes. I kept looking at my poster. XD (which, btw, is currently hanging up on my closet door XD)

So we finally headed back to Orlando. It took a while to navigate the town in darkness and we asked some guy on a bike where the highway was ‘n stuff. Lotsa bars on that street. O.o But Mandy and I were busy looking at the magazines and tour programs and listening to AI. We were on a total AI hype. Mandy pointed out to me allllll the many Canthony pictures in the tour and we’re like, ‘WHY AREN’T THEY TOGETHER?’ Haha. Gooses. *honk*

And that about ends my Idols day! Hope you enjoyed! ^^
