The Secret
Chapter 1.
Carrie was in her bedroom and was about to open her e-mail when a message from tonyf@hotmail.com caught her eye. She opened the e-mail from her friend and began to read.
"Dear Carebear,
Hey its me Tony, sorry I haven't written in awhile. I have been so busy trying to get in family time before the tour starts. I hope all is well with you. See you this weekend.
Anthony."
Carrie began to think about when she would see Anthony again. She got really excited and went to pick out the perfect outfit. (Later at Anthony’s room) Anthony was packing up and getting ready to go for the morning. He couldn’t wait to see Carrie again. But then he thought to himself “should I tell her about Brianna?” Brianna was this girl he met over the month from the finale to now. He liked her a lot but not like how he felt for Carrie. “Well its not like Carrie made her feelings clear for me either.” Is what he told himself.
He decided to keep it a secret for now until everything with Carrie was cleared up.
Anthony finally arrived at the rehearsal anxious to see everyone again when suddenly he heard this loud screech “ANTHONY!!!” Anthony looked behind him and it was no other than Carrie! “Gosh she is so beautiful!” he thought. Carrie ran right up to him and hugged him for a good two minutes. All the other idols paid close attention to that and just giggled. “Anthony I haven’t seen you in like forever it seems!” “I missed you so much!” Carrie said. “I missed you too Carebear.” Anthony said in a very sweet tone.
Before they could have a complete reunion Constantine grabbed Anthony and gave him a hug. “So like you to be the last one to show up Anthony.” Constantine said jokingly. “Yep that me!” Carrie was bummed when the producer came to get her so she could rehearse her song before tonight. Carrie went backstage, as Anthony continued to reunite with the gang.

“So is it nice to see your better half?” Bo said with a smile on his face. “What are you talking about Bo?” Anthony questioned. “Sweetie first off you look fabulous, but Anthony we all know you love Carrie.” Mikalah chimed in. “Yes it’s awesome to see her again but you know we are just friends okay.” “Sure Anthony sure.” Scott said rolling his eyes. “Hey Bo can I talk to you in private?” Anthony asked. “Sure dude.” Anthony felt the most comfortable talking to Bo about his situation. He was like a brother to him because they bonded so well over these last months. So they went back to a dressing room to talk. “Bo I am so incredibly in love with Carrie!” Anthony said with tears in his eyes. “Well Duh!!” Bo said. “Still man when I see her its like I am just complete and I want to be with her forever.” “Well Anthony don’t tell me tell her.” Bo said very adamantly. “I can’t that’s my problem.” Believe me I want to but I just don’t want to get my heart broken, I have been there and I don’t want to be there again.” “What makes you think that’s going to happen Anthony?” Bo asked. “ I met this girl over break and she is sweet and kind.” I am happy with her but with Carrie it fits.” “And?” Bo asked. “Well…..with Brianna I know she likes me and with Carrie I feel like she might only be in it for friendship.” “I see.” Bo said.
Anthony still confused was sitting alone in the room trying to think about what he was going to about Carrie. “Maybe I should tell her about Brianna and see how she reacts or just be with Brianna.” Anthony said out aloud. “Man I don’t know!” Anthony heard a noise he looked up and it was Carrie. “Who is Brianna??” Chapter 3. [/B] Anthony’s eyes widened so much! “Um…Carrie hi.” “What are you doing in here?” Anthony asked nervously. “I am here to get my dress for tonight.” Carrie said. His blue eyes searched the room nervously to locate her dress. “Ah here it is behind the door.” Here you go.” Thanks” Carrie said (awkward silence..) “So Anthony who is Brianna?” Carrie asked adamantly. “She is a girl I met, she lives back at home.” “Oh…” Carrie said disappointedly. “Yeah well she is a really great girl and I like her a lot.” “What if she is not right for you, or she only likes you because of your fame now.” Carrie insisted. “What?!” Anthony asked very puzzled. “Anthony I really need to tell you something important.” “Carebear, what is it?” “Anthony Fedorov I think I am in…….” “Hey Anthony your needed in five!” Con yelled from a far. “I’ll be there in a second okay!” Anthony insisted. “No come on!” “Okay sweetie we can talk later okay?” “Sure that’s okay.” Carrie said solemnly. Anthony left the room giving the girl of his dreams a loving look. Lindsey and Mikalah were walking down the hall and they heard crying from outside this dressing room. They opened the door and it was none other than sweet Carrie Underwood in tears on the couch. “Baby what’s wrong?” Mikalah asked. “I am such an idiot that’s what.” “I am letting the guy of my dreams slip away.” Carrie said in between sobs. “I don’t understand Carrie, who?” Lindsey asked. “Anthony!” Carrie said. “He was in here telling me about this girl Brianna that he met and how he liked her.” I tried to tell him how I felt but we got interrupted.” “How do you feel?” they asked. They knew but they wanted to hear her say it. “I am in love with him, everything about him is perfect and I want to be with him.” Carrie said. “But you know what I can’t worry about it right now I am just gonna go to rehearsal and deal with it later.” Thanks for listening girls.
Carrie exited the room. “You know what we have to do Lindsey?” Mikalah asked. “Yep put those two love birds together.
[B]Chapter 4.
Carrie arrived at rehearsal. She looked to her right and there he was. He was wearing fitted jeans and a baby blue t-shirt to die for. “Does he have to be so gorgeous?” she asked herself. She began to walk over just to be near him and Vonzell called her over for some advice. “Hey what can I do for ya Vonz?” Carrie asked. “Well do you think this shirt goes with theses pants?” “Yeah sure whatever.” Carrie said as she walked way.
“Okay I guess she’d rather be around Anthony.” “So typical” Vonzell said as she giggled.
“Hey Tony ready to start?” Carrie said as she interrupted Anthony and Ryan’s conversation. “Yep I am ready.” Anthony replied. They were all on stage ready to go. 1.2.3 and they began to “When You Tell Me That You Love Me” When it came to Carrie’s part to sing she slipped on Nadia’s water bottle, Carrie fell down on the stage. There was a big “Gasp!” from everyone. Anthony IMEDIATELY ran over to her. “Oh my gosh baby are you alright?” Anthony asked with obvious concern in his voice. “Yeah I think I am but I twisted my ankle I don’t think I can walk on it.” “Yeah it looks pretty swollen Carrie.” Ryan chimed in. “Okay well rehearsal is over.” Nikko said. “Yeah I’ll take her to her room and bring her some ice.” Anthony said. Carrie’s face lit up at the thought of Anthony taking care of her. “Well lets go Carebear.” Anthony picked her up and carried her to her room…
Chapter 5.
“Here put your foot on this pillow Carrie.” Anthony said in a very loving tone. “It still really hurts.” Carrie complained. “I know baby but Constantine is coming with ice so just think happy thoughts till he gets here okay?” Carrie knew exactly what her good thoughts were going to be. Anthony sat down on the edge of her cushion next to her. He took his hand and gently brushed her face. “You gave me a real scare in there Care.” “Really?” Carrie asked suspiciously. “Yeah I don’t know what I would do if anything ever happened to you Carrie.” “Anthony you are always here for me when I need you.” “You are my guardian angel and best friend.” Carrie said sweetly. Anthony was stunned by Carrie’s words. He sat there in silence trying to take in what she said to him and what it meant. Carrie thought to her self it’s now or never. Carrie sat up and said to him in a very soft tone. “Anthony I meant every word.” She turned his angelic face to hers and leaned in for a kiss. She gave him a soft kiss on the lips. She was about to pull away when he began to deepen the kiss. He couldn’t help it he loved her so much. “Wait Carrie I can’t do this!” Anthony said while he tried to catch his breath. “Why not?” Carrie asked sadly. “I am seeing Brianna and it wouldn’t be right.” “So until I have everything cleared I can’t do this okay?” “I understand” Carrie said in a hushed tone. Anthony got up and left the room. Carrie began to cry a little when Constantine came in with the ice. “Hey how you feeling?” he asked her. “I am okay but my ankle isn’t too hot.” Carrie said trying to fight back her tears. “Are you sure your okay, you look like you’ve been crying.” “No I am fine it’s just the pain of my ankle that’s my making my eyes water that’s all.” Carrie explained. “You know its weird that Anthony didn’t stay long I would have put 50 bucks that he would be feeding you by now.” Con said jokingly. “Well you know he got caught up in something else.”
Chapter 6.
Anthony was in his bedroom trying to sort his feelings for Brianna and for Carrie. He knew he was in love with Carrie but could there really be anything else beyond friendship for them? While in mid thought his cell phone rang. “Hello.” “Hey Baby!” Brianna’s voice rang in his ears. “Hi what’s up?” Anthony asked nervously. “Go to your door.” A confused Anthony went to the door and opened it. “BABY!!” Brianna screamed as she hugged the blonde beauty. “I missed you so much!!” “What are you doing here Bri?” “Way to ruin a surprise Tony.” Brianna scuffled. Carrie heard a lot of racket and went to see what it was. She limped her way to the living room. Carrie’s pretty face just dropped when she saw a beautiful brunette hugging Anthony. Anthony was introducing her to the gang but the only thing he could think about was how Carrie was going to react. “Hi I am Carrie.” She said with a fake smile. “Hi I am Brianna, you must be the girl Anthony has been e-mailing all the time right?” “Yeah I guess so.” Carrie replied sadly. Carrie hopped her way over to the coach to sit down. “Well who is up for the clubs tonight?” Nadia asked everyone. Everyone wanted to go but Lindsey made sure she asked Carrie if she was up to it because of her ankle. But Carrie was game. There was no way she was gonna miss a chance to get to know this “Brianna”. Everyone was on the dance floor except for Carrie. She sat on a far table watching as Anthony and Brianna danced with each other. She was so jealous. Lindsey came and sat next to her. “I am sorry sweetie.” She said comfortingly. “For what?” Carrie questioned her statement. “You know lover boy and Brianna over there.” “Yeah he looks like he’s happy so I want him to be happy”.
“Good for you Care.” “With a guy that hot I don’t know if I could be so strong.” “I kissed him you know?” “Shut up!” Lindsey said excitedly “Let me tell you Linds he is the best kisser ever!!” Carrie said with a smile. “Well he is from a foreign country, who’s to say that the French are the only ones that can make it good.” Lindsey added with a wink.
“Tell me about it!” “Well if you need me I’ll be dancing with Constantine tee hee.” Carrie sat alone once again. She tried to gather her thoughts but she could only think about how hot Anthony looked when he danced.
Chapter 7.
They all returned from the club wiped out. Everyone went to bed. While Anthony was sleeping he heard a crash and then an “Ow!” He got up and walked into the kitchen. He saw Carrie hopping on her foot in the cutest PJ’s he had ever seen. He couldn’t help but smile before going to actually help her. “Hey Care bear what’s going on?” “Are you okay?” “I was trying to see if I could walk on my foot and now it just hurts even more!” she complained. “Baby don’t strain your self. He picked her up and placed her on the counter. “Now what are you doing up so late young lady?” “I am older then you remember.” Carrie said with a smile. “Yeah so whatever!” Anthony said with a chuckle.
“I couldn’t sleep and I wanted some water and I didn’t want to bother anyone so I tried to get it my self and the rest is history.” Carrie explained. “Carrie you know you could never bother me.” I would have been happy to help you, you know that.” “Well you were peacefully sleeping after your big night with Brianna so I didn’t want to wake you.” She said in a snooty tone. “I think I owe you something.” Anthony said. “what are you talking about Fed-Ex?” “Come here.” Anthony grabbed her hand. “Now if we go slow I think you will be okay to dance with me yeah?” “I’ll give it a shot.” Carrie said. “I owe you at least a dance after avoiding you tonight Care.” “Everything was so crazy and I am sorry.”
“It’s okay”. “Hey Anthony where is the music?” “Heres the fun part.” He said with a smirk. As they danced slowly Anthony asked “how’s your foot?” “Better I think I can keep going.” “Good.” Anthony starting serenading her by singing in her ear. He was singing the words of This I promise You by NSYNC. Very softly he sang to her as they swayed from side to side. Carrie began to cry and just got lost in his soothing voice. Once their dance was done Anthony carried Carrie to the couch. “I want to watch a movie how about you?” Anthony asked “Well it depends on which one Tony.” “How about Sleepless in Seattle.” He suggested. “How did you know that was my favorite movie?” “I have my ways.” “So have a made up for dissing you tonight?” “More than you know.” The next morning Brianna came over with donuts and saw Carrie fast asleep with her head on Anthony’s chest and his arms around her………..Chapter 8.
Brianna was in shock at the display before her eyes. She naively thought they were really just friends. But she knew that there was always a special way he would talk to Carrie when she was on the phone. Brianna had fallen in love with Anthony so she tried no to think anything of it. But today it makes it all quite clear how he feels about her. Brianna left the donuts on the counter with a note that said “I understand, Brianna.” She went back to her hotel room in tears. Anthony began to stir in his sleep. He opened his eyes and felt the most amazing feeling he ever had. He looked down and saw his care bear fast asleep. “This must be love.” He told himself. For a good ten minutes he just watched Carrie sleep. But he knew he had to get up soon before anyone saw them. Too bad he was already late for that. He slowly crept from underneath Carrie trying not to wake her up. “Success!” he said in a whisper. He walked in to the kitchen and saw the donuts. His eyes read the sad note. “OH MY GOSH!” he exclaimed. He went and got dressed and headed out for Brianna’s hotel. He had to set things straight. Carrie woke up about an hour later. “Anthony??” she said in a raspy morning voice. “Anthony where are you?” she said as she limped into his bedroom. He was no where. Carrie sat down on his bed very confused. “Knock Knock”. Brianna opened the door. “Hey.” Anthony said in an embarrassed tone. “Look Anthony come in.” Brianna told him. “I am not sure of what you saw Bri but I have been meaning to talk to you for a while now.” He explained. “Yeah?” “Look you have been an amazing girlfriend.” “You are supportive and you didn’t make a scene when you saw us on the couch.” “I respect that.” “Look Anthony I fell in love with you during our time together but I know in my heart that yours belongs to Carrie.” “I understand you were trying to move on because things with her were stiff.” “But you know I don’t want to your rebound girl.” “I love you enough to let you go.” Brianna said all of this with tears on her face. Anthony took his hand and wiped away her tears. “You are an amazing woman and will find your prince someday I promise you that.” “Thank you for being who you are, and thank you for this opportunity with Carrie.”
He said in a calm tone. “I just want you to be happy Anthony.” “I know you do.” He kissed her forehead and hugged her goodbye. Brianna knew she would miss him but in her heart she knew it was the right thing to do.
Chapter 9. final chapter.
Anthony opened the door quietly and saw Bo eating all the donuts. Anthony let out a chuckle. “Hey man where have you been?” Bo asked “Um…..just out.” He explained. “Okay dude.” Bo replied. “Hey Tony where were you?” “You gave me a scare.” He heard Carrie say those words sweetly. “Uh…well we need to talk in private.” He told her. “Um Okay” “Here come here.” Anthony took her hand an guided her into his bedroom. “Ooooooh.” Bo teased from the kitchen. “Here sit here Carrie.” “I broke up with Brianna.” “Really?” “Yeah we both realized that we didn’t belong together and that I loved someone else.” “Yeah?” Carrie said anxiously. “Its always been you Carrie I am so deeply and completely in love with you.” Anthony said as his eyes began to water. He couldn’t believe this moment was actually happening. “Oh Anthony I am in love with you too.” “You complete me.” Anthony was so overcome with emotions that he took his hand brushed back Carries hair and kissed her softly. Their kiss become more and more passionate “God I love you Care bear.” He said when they finished their kiss. “I know baby I love you too. She told him. They both got up and walked in to the living room where everyone was sitting. “Hey everyone we wanted to be the first to tell you all that we are a couple.” Anthony said with an unstoppable smile. “FINALLY!!!” they said in unison. They all got up and hugged them. “I guess they don’t need our services Mikalah.” Lindsey said. “Yeah guess not.” Anthony and Carrie walked to the breakfast table hand and hand. They sat down together. “I love you Fed-EX!” “I love you too Care bear.”
