Last night was just horrible. I was SO upset, I was crying my eyes out.

Anthony is my favorite this season, because he is a miracle boy, and he is the living proof that anyone can become a singer. He's proof I could be a singer too.

I voted a total of 2510 times for Anthony in the past 12 weeks, and Tuesday, Anthony totally claimed the stage when he sang "If You Don't Know Me By Now" and "I'm Already There." He was the BEST. I was SO sure he had just sung himself into the finale. He was just incredible.

And we were so sure he'd be safe. He had everything going for him. He was in the final spot, which was the 'safe spot'. In all four seasons, NOBODY who sang last ever got kicked off.

The phone lines were crazy busy. I only got 250 through, when I usually got 300 or so. This worried me, but I assured myself it was because everyone was voting for him.

We were expecting other people to go (Carrie, Vonz, or Bo. Anyone but Tony), and imagine my dismay when Ryan Seacrest announced that my boy was leaving, due to another contestant pulling the 'crying/i had a bad day strings' last night to get herself pity votes.

I'm not the only one who's upset. Carrie, who NEVER cried for anyone, was crying for Anthony. And he turned and sang to her. And she mouthed to him 'I love you.' I thought this was totally sweet, and it brought the tears on harder.

And THEN, they cut off his last performance. What's with that? They let Scott sing his whole song, and not Anthony? The whole elimination was SO rushed.

And to add on to my horrible night, I was sick yesterday, AND the TiVo didn't record correctly, so I couldn't rewatch the episode! What a night...

Why did they let Scott sing his whole song...he's not very good. :shifty:

I doubt she did that to get Anthony voted off. She never really cried like that, and I think she literally had a bad day. That has happened to me before, and I cried too. Some days you just can't fight it, but I don't know, I don't wanna get in the way, I know this is an Anthony board, so sorry, don't hurt me!! *hides*

I don't want to start any fights or anything, but to each their own, my dear. I'm sure you have bad feelings about at least SOMEONE on the show, right? :wink: Don't be offended about it. Vonzell was a really good singer, but when Anthony got voted off, I felt it was unjust, because he did an AMAZING job the night before, and Vonzell didn't do too hot that night. I felt America should have voted on performance that night, and it didn't happen. You have to admit, it was odd that Vonz cried that night...on final four night...when Jas did the same thing last year...

Again, no fights or nothing, this is just my opinion, as is everything else in the rants section. You really have to take this section with a grain of salt. :wink:

No, I don't really hate anyone on this show. I liked all the contestants. And I completely understand, I don't want to get in the way.

Btw, I didn't know Jas did that last year, I didn't watch American Idol til this season.

Yea, Jassy did it, and because of it, she got pity votes and stayed...that's why I said it. Sorry to offend you, I didn't mean to. I do love the Fanzells. :grin:
