Subject: Ace on Reality Remix
Reality Remix is a show that airs daily on the Fox Reality channel.
Today they showed a prerecorded interview with Ace from last Friday.
Here's my transcript! (BTW, Ace's last two comments TOTALLY cracked me
up!)
Kennedy: ...Luckily we got a chance to sit down for one last word
with banished... and dreamy... Ace. (clip from AI) Ace surprised
everyone with a new look for his performance last week. Then he was the one
who was surprised when he found out he was going home.
Ace: I really thought I was safe. I did a good performance. I got
to wear the first suit I ever bought in my life.
Kennedy: And the new suit prompted the new hair style.
Ace: I put on the suit and, not ever wearing a suit, I looked in the
mirror and I kept seeing the hair fall on it and I was like, ya know
what, it just doesn't look right. It's a distraction. And the song I'm
singing, I want to feel like a Frank Sinatra song, I want it to feel
like a classic, so I slicked it back. I put it in a ponytail and I felt
great. I felt like a million bucks.
Kennedy: Ace says he's leaving on a high note after getting positive
feedback from the judges, even Simon.
Ace: I've been fighting for positive remarks from Simon since day 1.
He's been very hard on me and it's 'cause he knows what I can do, and,
um, I think he's going to be very pleased with what I do once I run
from this platform.
Kennedy: For now his plans include a trip home to visit family,
friends, and fans.
Ace: I can't wait to get back to Colorado and just party for a week.
(smiling) And then just give those handshakes, the hugs, the
autographs, the pictures to those that deserve them so much. And um, then I'll
come back and I'm gonna start working on my album, and I think
America's gonna be really surprised to see what I come up with.
Kennedy: As for what exactly it IS he's come up with...
Ace: The closest thing out of all the songs I sang to ME was the very
first song I sang, which was Father Figure. It's something that meshes
pop, rock, R&B, and it almost sounds like a George Michael, Jamiroquai
(sp?), and it's gonna be a lot of fun. I can't wait to perform it.
Kennedy: Of course, all work and no play makes Ace a dull boy, so he
and his brother have a plan.
Ace: He's single as well, (smiling) so we're gonna hit this dating
circuit hard and we're just gonna have of fun.
Kennedy: And what about the rumor that Jessica Simpson would like to
be included in his dating plans?
Ace: (smiling) Knock knock, um, say hello. I would love to meet
Jessica Simpson. (laughing)
Kennedy: Thank you Ace. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of you
soon... like every time I close my eyes. (sighing)
Thanks for the interview. I don't get this where I am at. I loved the end too. Cute. Makes me wish I was single again. Don't tell hubby!
