Title: Ryan Young's Whassup Dialogues

mrsrobinson - April 3, 2006 02:19 AM (GMT)
By Ryan Young April 1, 2006

Hi Everyone!

All right now, these nail-biter bottom three experiences need to cease immediately! But it's going to take our concerted effort to make that happen. It seems that many of Ace's friends and fans were absent last week on Spring break, so we're hoping that you're all back safely and energized to support with votes in a big way this week. We are going to post a series of dialing finger exercises on the net to prepare everyone for the 2 hour Tuesday night vigil!

Re Tuesday, after the show I listened to the Mp3 of Ace's performance of "Drops of Jupiter" and I thought he was terrific! You should also know that the live audience loved his performance and gave him a standing "O". Unfortunately song selection isn't as clear-cut and easy as America would believe (catalogs are not wide open), but Ace felt that "Drops of Jupiter" suited him well…he loves the song and was pleased with his choice.

This week "The S**p" mimicked Ace's gestures with his hair and scar and we both got a big kick out of their insanity. We love their weekly degradation of Pop culture. Several of Ace's friends from Boulder were with me in the audience this past week, some of them live out here now. It was a great time! Our brother Marc and his gorgeous wife, Dre are visiting and you will see them with me in the audience for country week. Oh, be sure to check out TV Guide this week! Also, Ace's scar is featured on page 24 of the new P**ple magazine.

This week Ace will be reunited with one of his very favorite Country Western stars. You'll love Ace's rendition of a very popular CW hit! He will be great!

Though your friends are aware of this, the Idol audience is unaware that Ace is a really gifted songwriter. He has written and performed dozens of his own original songs in the past. In fact, if he were to write a CW song, it would probably be much like the one you'll hear this Tuesday. I'm really excited to hear this one and want you all to share the excitement! BTW, I heard John Elway was in town and Ace wants to meet him. If anyone knows him, let him know we have a ticket for him. In the meantime, vote…redial…vote!!

Thanks.

Your loyal friend,

Ryan Young

AceOfDiamonds - April 3, 2006 02:33 AM (GMT)
Thank you mrob!! I loved reading this! I know I have seen some of these on the Idol message boards, but where does he post them originally? Do you know?

I agree with him about the mp3. I wasn't 100% about the first maybe 2 lines, but he sang the song well. Since it wasn't the type of song the Three Stooges were expecting, I think they were against it from the get-go.

Who is "The S**p"?

I hope he is right about people being gone on Spring Break. I'd give just about anything to keep Ace safe. Even my virginity. "snark"

I hope he is right about the C&W song. Wouldn't it just be awesome if Ace is the one to pull a brilliant one one out of his (cowboy) hat?

:aceinhole:

mrsrobinson - April 3, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
I think he sends them to friends and family... but it seems like every week someone somewhere gets ahold of a copy and posts it at a fansite. This one is posted a few places now.

It's very interesting to me that he says that Ace will be RE-united with the country celeb (Kenny Rogers??) and also that he makes the comment - out of the clear blue sky - about Ace's writing. I believe that these are hints... that Ace has written with or for whoever's song he is doing this week ... or that possibly he has a writing credit o the song he is doing..............???

The best part is that it sounds like Ace will knock it out of the park.

I also agree about the Jupiter mp3. His vocals were GREAT - his awkward nervous stage moves lost him votes. Ace, relax!

bayin06 - April 3, 2006 02:50 AM (GMT)
Dang - this kind of gives me hope!!!! Thanks for bringing that here. I know -- it's his brother, but still. I needed this. :yahoo:

AceOfHearts - April 3, 2006 02:58 AM (GMT)
Wracking my brain to try and figure out what the possible clues mean. :pace:

mrsrobinson, why do you think Kenny Rogers?

No matter. It sounds like Ace will knock it out of the park this week and I can't wait? :cheerleader:

And I hope someone can get John Elway there for our man.

bayin06, did you watch the Have Faith video? If not, you should.

AceOfDiamonds - April 3, 2006 03:05 AM (GMT)
Kenny Rogers is supposed to be on the show Wednesday. Not sure if he is helping them a la Barry Manilow or not.

AmazingAce - April 3, 2006 03:38 AM (GMT)
Very interesting that Kenny Rogers is on Tuesday.

Kenny Rogers songs Ace could do:

Lady

She Believes in Me

You Decorated My Life

Through the Years

What do y'all think of those? Kenny's not one of my favorites, but Ace could do his songs justice, and then some, IMO.

AceOfDiamonds - April 3, 2006 04:02 AM (GMT)
Hmmm. Hard for me to picture Ace singing those. "Lady" was already done by Will Makar so I don't think he would pick that, although he could. You know, I think most everybody probably cannot picture Ace singing Country, so assuming he CAN and WILL do a good job Tuesday, everyone will be amazed and that will be good for him. Will make him stand out. And he needs that. This is a theory I like. :D

WHASSUP DIALOGUES
by Ryan Young April 9, 2006
Whassup Everyone!!

This is more fun each and every week. Thanks for your votes. Sitting in the audience, I loved Ace's performance of Tonight I Wanna Cry…thought it was great. Watching it later, I thought "Man, what a beautiful voice my little brother has!" Enough! I'm getting teary eyed…but women like my vulnerability!!

Wednesday nights are not relaxing, however. My Dad says he's started wearing Depends! Whatever works. But your votes bought Ace another week!! Keep it up…2 hours of redialing is what it takes.

In the audience we met Whoopi Goldberg and her family; and Chris Rock and his family. They are great folks and we told them that we are huge fans. Ace had a blast singing with Queen. This week will be memorable!~ Don't miss this one!! Can't say any more.

Ace & I, family and friends went bowling after the Tuesday night show. We're crappy bowlers (except for Duff), but we sure had fun together. It's amazing to watch the public reaction to Ace when he's out there. When people spot him, they phone their friends and, within minutes, there's a big crowd! They are really drawn to him…and Ace is really patient and receptive. Later, after dropping Ace off, we all stayed up until 5AM listening to Ace's original music, some of which our friends had not heard. Amazing stuff! Can't wait to share it with America.

On Saturday Ace was singing for 7 straight hours, recording an Idol CD, a Ford commercial and future stuff for the show. He is resting his voice on Sunday, trying not to even speak much, let alone sing. He said that, if he had to sing for lunch, he'd rather starve!

Be sure to check out TV Guide right now. Nice profiles of the finalists' families, including ours. I can't overemphasize the importance of our voting for the 2 hour duration following the show. I know it's trying, but remember that we're supporting a great guy and an incredible artist that the country is soon to know…and we're all on the inside. Maybe we can bribe him to sing at our weddings…HA! We love you all!!

Your loyal friend,

Ryan Young

WHASSUP DIALOGUES
By Ryan Young April 15, 2006

Whassup Everybody!!

Our motto for this week is "Keep on keeping on." So, we're keepin' on. As usual, thanks to you all for keeping us alive for another week. This was a great week, albeit a strange week. Ace performed Queen's We Will Rock You and, being in the audience, I loved it…as did the audience. Our nephew Carter, his Mom Laura and her sister Cindy were with us… Carter's red hair looking like his head was on fire!

Brian May, Queen's lead guitarist and song writer, issued a detailed statement on his web site (see brian may dot com ) to correct what he believed was Id*l's misrepresentation of his collaboration with Ace . Ace was humbled by Brian's gracious intervention…it was truly generous of him. Now, Ace is very charged up for this week's theme: Rod Stewart's Great American Song Book. This should be a great opportunity for him to demonstrate his vocal artistry. He'll be magnificent, so don't miss it.

Ace and I went to see Scary Movie 4 last night…a real mental challenge…but lots of fun. While waiting in the theater before the show, Ace ran into Toby McGuire . Ace introduced himself and exclaimed, "Toby, I'm a big fan!" Toby surprised Ace by claiming, "Ace, I'm a fan!" Ace seems unfazed by this kind of stuff, but it blows me away! That's my little brother! And yeah, Toby has better taste in movies than we do.

Ace has the day off tomorrow (Sunday) so Dave Smith (Golf Pro buddy), Ace and I are set to play golf. Ace really wants a day with no Idol conversation or concerns. BTW, I should stress that, in spite of the brouhaha surrounding last week's show and fan reaction, Ace is really grateful for the exposure that American Idol has afforded him, for the friends he has acquired among the other kids, and for the experience in general. Oh yeah, and we're really going to miss Bucky! The most genuine, friendly, funny guy you'll ever meet. He's a buddy forever.

Nothing happens without our votes! We're voting for 2 solid hours and I know that many of you are, too. Please encourage all of Ace's fans to hit that REDIAL button until time's up or their battery dies!

Our Mom and Dad are visiting this week and we can't wait to see them.

We love you all, your loyal friend,

Ryan

AceOfDiamonds - April 16, 2006 10:27 PM (GMT)
Thanks for bringing this latingrl2005! I am so happy to hear that Ace is getting a day off, and that all Idol matters will be put aside. I cannot imagine how tough all of this is for him! :cheekkiss:

latingrl2005 - April 17, 2006 01:03 AM (GMT)
your welcome..........

grACEd - April 17, 2006 04:30 AM (GMT)
Thanks latingrl. I love reading those little insights. I am glad to hear Ace is getting some time off too. I am also glad to hear his parents get to visit this week. That should be great for him.

Here's the latest whassup from Ryan from the AI message boards:

WHASSUP DIALOGUES
April 21, 2006

Whassup Everybody!!

Kudos to you all for your relentless loyalty to Ace in
his Idol quest. You were great and we’ll never forget
your love for him and his talent.

O.K. No tears, please! Ace is in a great frame of
mind and, in many ways, is very happy to be relieved
of the weekly grind of Idol. Also, he went out on a
high note and, believe me, his performance was
wonderful!! If you want to hear Ace in his element,
rewind Tuesday night’s show to his rehearsal time with
Rod Stewart when Rod extended such high praise (“Ace,
you sang that better than I did!) and listen to the
few seconds of vocals where his voice is clearly
discernible. That’s the Ace we love to hear! Rod
Stewart was a fantastic guest artist and Ace was
clearly among the very best performances of the night.
So you all keep your spirits high, too, because we’re
now going to hear a lot more of this great side of
Ace’s artistry.

This is the beginning for Ace. Idol ends and his
career begins! Like he said, “Hey, I don’t have a
curfew anymore…let’s party!” Opportunities are
springing up and we’re excited to explore the most
promising ones. We’ll keep you posted as soon as
things firm up. Of course the Idol Tour will take
precedence in June and July when Ace is reunited with
his buddies and we’ll post the tour schedule as soon
as we receive it. Several fans have asked Ace to
perform in a tank top and spandex pants. Or no tank
top at all! Right!!
BTW, Jay Leno asked if “Ace” was his real name or a
BLEEP name…then proceeded to give Ace his prize of the
notorious video of Paris Hilton’s “aerobic workout”!
Ace watched it…said it was exhausting…just kidding!
Later, he taped the Ellen show while wearing one of
her gifts to him of black boxer briefs with white
Ellen letters along the elastic waistband. At the
commercial break he revealed this to her and, at her
urging, proved it to her…many yuks off camera! Ace is
really fun to watch on these shows.

He was on Leno last night for a short spoof. Monday
AM he’ll appear live on Regis and Kelly and, in the
afternoon, on Ellen…don’t miss this one. He’s already
taped it and it’s really good. Elton John is the
featured guest, so the viewership will be huge! On
Tuesday he’ll be on Dayside. He’ll return home from
New York late Tuesday night.

We do appreciate Idol for providing Ace with the
opportunity to develop this huge fan base. His
Highroller pledges to Children’s Hospital have already
exceeded $3,800 and we are humbled by this incredible
generosity. Ace actually is overwhelmed.

You can keep abreast of Ace’s appearances and
itinerary through Ace’s website at BLEEP.com We’ll
have it current within the next day or so.

Ace will want to reach out to you all personally very
soon so watch for his message. We love you all and
are grateful for your friendship and devotion.

Your loyal friend, Ryan

P.S. Possibly The Today Show on Tuesday morning!

And ANOTHER one!

Whassup Dialogues
April 23, 2006

Whassup Everybody!

You are great friends and there is no way to convey to you our profound gratitude for the persistent support and love that you have extended to Ace.

Here's how our stream of consciousness looks right now:

Good news! No more dialing marathons on Tuesday night! With that being said, be sure to dial 320-365-3844 (access code: 826767) to hear one of Ace's world wide radio interviews...available 'til April 27th.

You can't believe the amazing number of gifts Ace has received from devoted fans and friends across the country. Dozens and dozens! They arrive daily and there is no way to thank everybody, so please know that we are speechless in our appreciation.

Gifts include everything from stuffed animals, some larger than Ace himself, clothing (underwear is popular), watches, necklaces, wrist bands, sculptures (incredible), beautiful letters, even a star named after him in the solar system, etc....but most importantly the love, prayers and support from millions of people.

Ace's appearances: Monday 4-24-06 - Regis and Kelly Live; Ellen. Tuesday 4-25-06 - Today Show (maybe); Dayside; NYC Children's Hospital. Some of you may have seen him on Leno Thursday night.

Opportunities are pouring in including offers from some of the most talented people in the music business, feature films and television. Ace is currently fielding offers and we will share them with you as they firm up. We've always believed in Ace's talent and charisma and, apparently, so do a multitude of folks in the entertainment business. Believe me, this next year promises great things.

People are stopping Ace wherever he goes and requesting pictures...seems like everyone has camera phones and I have become a professional photographer by proxy. Some even want me in the picture so I'm keeping my teeth brushed at all times. Ha!

You can now leave messeges for Ace and register at acemusic.com. The site will be under continued development - Ace's appearances and news flashes will be available there, too. Possibly future Whassup Dialogues.

Ace has many exceptional fan sites and I look forward to communicating with them soon. I hope they keep up the good work and understand how important their activity is to his future.

Thanks again for your encouragement.

Your loyal friend,
Ryan

Whassup Dialogues
By Ryan Young
May 19, 2006

Whassup Everybody!!

Hey, from now on the Whassup Dialogues will be published bi-monthly. So to ensure that you are in the loop to hear from us, be sure to register at Ace music.com

Seems like Ace has been busier since he left Idol than he was before. I know that you’re all aware of his multiple media appearances, highlighted by Ace’s own “Don’t Go” on MTV’s TRL. It was great! Then, People Magazine invited us to the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner in DC…that’s a 5 page story with lots of name dropping! We met Everybody!

Then back home to Colorado where Ace’s fans humbled him by providing a check for him to give to The Children’s Hospital of Denver in the amount of $7,777.77 (Since then an additional $3,000 has been raised. ) One fan from New York wrote the hospital to say, “If Ace and his brothers can donate their time year after year, the least I can do is donate my money.” WOW!! You all are wonderful.

Kelly Pickler hooked up with us over Mother’s Day weekend and visited our SoCal family on Sunday. She snowed them just as she has everybody else…but then we got her to help us clean our bachelor pad. What a mess! So, when Ryan Seacrest spotted Kelly and Ace together during the show Wednesday night, Kelly tried to explain that Ace is actually her big brother. Ace had fun later by explaining that Kelly was actually our housekeeper!! In reality, Kelly was our house general, bossing the two of us around all day!! But what a beautiful boss, huh? Believe me, we didn’t mind.

Ace is in rehearsal now for the final two Idol shows, the 23rd and 24th. BTW, the Idol Compilation CD comes out on May 23rd so pick it up. Ace’s cut, Father Figure, is terrific!

During all of this activity Ace is busy writing his new album and we’re excited at how it is developing. We’re keeping it on the down-low, however, to sustain the suspense and excitement.

The Idol Tour is scheduled to begin in early July…some 44 stops and nothing yet in Colorado or Texas. That sucks for us but we are still hoping that this oversight will be corrected. Idol and 19 Entertainment seem willing to work on it.

OK, here’s the schedule for the next two weeks:

1. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23rd and 24th Ace on Idol’s final two shows
2. Thursday, May 25th Ace live on Idol recap with Greta Van Sustren “On the Record”, Fox News Channel 10PM EDT
3. Sunday, May 28th, Ace - special appearance at John Elway’s Colorado Crush Arena Football League Playoff Game in Denver’s Pepsi Center…on National TV.

We’re updating ace music.com to provide more current information. Thanks to you fans for your great fansites…we love your ingenuity.

Can’t close without this mention: Relax, there is no truth to the rumor that Playgirl wanted Ace to pose nude after his Idol contract. Actually, they wanted me!! I have now engineered a bidding war for my naked services between Playgirl and Popular Mechanics Magazine. Check out your local newsstands in August. I’ll be the guy looking very stupid!! And very cold!~! Ha!

As always, we love you all and would not have these life changing opportunities without your incredible support.

Your loyal friend,

Ryan

WHASSUP DIALOGUES!!

by Ryan Young July 16, 2006

Whassup Everybody!!

No, I am not orphaned, not really. Yes, Ace is finally on the Idol Tour and will be until approximately September 24th when the Tour concludes somewhere in Pennsylvania. Apparently he plans to hitchhike back to LA so, if any of you are out for a drive at that time with nothing to do for about 10 days, keep a look out for a kid with long wavy hair, jeans and big buckle, dirty T-shirt and a sun-burned thumb, probably on his right hand. Give him a lift, please, so I can stay here and tend to business.

I did travel to Manchester, NH on July 5th to see the first two shows and had a blast! Friends from Vermont came down to visit and saw Ace live for the first time. No fraternal pride here but, damn, Ace is powerful in concert!! The crowd, 10,000 strong, really came alive when he performed...lots of screams and cheering. It was especially interesting to note the response of those who were not Ace fans during Idol...Ace is winning them over in big way. I got to spend several hours with Ace and with his Idol cohorts. Great time...they really are like a big family. Lots of kibitzing, joking around and obvious affection. Ace loves these kids and that will mitigate much of the tedium of 60+ performances in the ensuing weeks.

I'm incredibly busy here in my own pursuits, and am still up to my ears with Ace's career demands. Planning for his future is at critical mass and, fortunately, we have input from some highly qualified close friends in the industry who keep us informed and on the right track. Mistake avoidance is key here.

Once Ace left LA I thought I'd purchase a TV Guide and see if there is still any programming worth watching on television anymore. I still haven't done that and my screen is still dark. If any of you see Ace on TV anywhere, send me a link!

I have to admit that I'm not a total slave to my work. Once back from NH I took a day off and played golf with my pro buddy who just humiliates me...shooting in the 60's! And I got to a Pearl Jam Concert with another buddy. They're always fantastic. Back to golf...have to mention that our Dad, playing with his best firend in Denver, scored back to back eagle 2's from the fairway on two consecutive par four holes. I've never heard of that before and he admits that he's never had even one fairway eagle before, let alone two in a row. So we bought Lotto tickets that day hoping the luck would carry over...nada!

I do hope to attend a few shows yet this summer. It's great fun to watch the fans' response to Ace and his Idol buddies...especially the kids in the crowd. They are in another world for two and a half hours! Then they wait outside for two hours just to see the Tour Bus leave with their Idols. Ace and Chris always stand by the bus window to wave to them, a "thank you" for their support.

BTW, since the last Whassup Dialogues, Ace has appeared on the Red Carpet for the premier of The Pirates of the Caribbean and for the BET Awards Dinner, several interviews, including Ace and Chris interviewing with Rita Cosby of MSNBC in NY this last weekend (http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=B978325C-7860-4D1E-943A-B640DD30DCFF&f=msn-l&fg=copy ). I know you all saw the People Magazine feature of him in their special 50 Hottest Bachelors Edition...what a great picture!

Thanks to you all who provide us with photos from the tour:

They are great!! We will catalogue these and establish a pictorial chronology of the Summer of 2006...Ace's career launch! I've included a couple of pictures of Ace here as a reminder of what a great talent and great guy he is and that he deserves our support. We really rely on you all. I love you guys, Ace loves you guys, and we'll continue to keep you abreast of his goings on.

Your loyal friend, Ryan

Subject WHASSUP?!?!?! WOO! GOOOOOD NEWS!! READ!
Body: This was posted by Duff over at AI and it's soo exciting!! =D -->

Whassup Everybody!!

I can’t heeaar you! WHASSSSUP EVERYBODY??!!

OK, That’s better! Where have you all been? Huh? Hey, I’m kidding! I guess it seems like I’m the one who disappeared ‘cause it’s been a while since the last Dialogues, but we’ll start catching up now.

This will be short and sweet but I promise a detailed missive within the next two weeks. Ace just flew in today from New York where he’s been holed up with his co-writing buddy and alter ego, Elvio. They’ve been writing up a storm and finishing several works in progress from Ace’s time on the Idol Tour. Ace wants to send a huge “Thank you” to all of you who showed up for him with such love and enthusiasm throughout the 90 day Tour. He feels he made hundreds of wonderful friends and wants to stay in touch with you all.

Ace and I hit the gym tonight together for the first time in a year. Fortunately, the only muscles of mine that don’t hurt right now are in my fingers, so I can type this at least, but first I’m gonna grab some Advil.

ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Ace is performing Thursday night this week ( the 5th -tonight) in Anaheim at 5:30 PM at City Hall outdoors. This is a birthday celebration for the city of Anaheim and it’s free!! He’s singing Scattered, Father Figure, and another original song that he’ll debut there, so fire up the riding lawn mower and get over there…and plan to say hello!

Oh yeah, tomorrow morning he’ll be on KTLA television in LA at 7:40 AM.

Lots and lots of exciting developments that I’ll share in our next correspondence. However, the reason for this short note is to announce to you great friends that Ace’s single, Scattered, is being released nationwide this week and early next week to major radio markets with a focus on the venues that he touched while on the Idol Tour. This is big! And we really need your support. When you hear it in your market, call the station and request that they play it again. We’ll have a tie-in to I-Tunes, too, so you can encourage your friends to jump on that by Friday.

BTW, the initial response from the station managers who have received the CD is overwhelmingly enthusiastic. I think that they’re surprised to hear such an original and creative piece from an Idol celebrity. Remember how I used to preach that the Ace you’re seeing on Idol is not the artist that we’ve known for years. Don’t misunderstand me, Idol was a fantastic opportunity for Ace to introduce himself to the American public, but he had to play by their rules. Now we are going to celebrate his original music with him as he introduces us to these great new songs.

Ace is free now!! Hallelujah…this is what we’ve all been waiting for! Together, we can make this happen. Thanks for hanging out with us.

I’ll be back in touch soon.

Your loyal friend, Ryan

PS, Please send this to every literate person you know. In fact, send it to your illiterate friends, too, as long as they have access to someone who can read!

Aarykay - October 6, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
:wheee: That is great news! I know that when Scattered REALLY gets out to everyone it is going to be BIG!! I am waiting for it to come here to my town  ...can't wait!! :wheee:

Holiday Edition
November 25, 2006

Hey --- Whassup Everybody!!!

It seems we're all in the gym today or out jogging trying to get rid of that last piece of pumpkin pie that has found a home on our hips! Ace and I were in Philadelphia on Thanksgiving where Ace performed in their huge annual T-Day Parade. Great time...Ace's float looked like it was borrowed from the back lot of a Tarzan jungle movie so he didn't know whether to sing his own song Scattered (now on I-Tunes) or something from the Lion King.

He chose Scattered. It was a great time! Kelly Ripa was one of the hosts and Ace couldn't have been more warmly received. We spent an hour or so with Kelly off camera and she's really fun. BTW, Kelly's a fox!

Thanks to you all for supporting Ace's birthday bash benefiting Children's Hospital on the 15th. You guys are great! Kudos to you for your energy, loyalty, and tremendous support of Ace's passion for helping the kids and their families at Children's Hospital. Many of you have seen the video of Ace receiving the poster-sized check for $27,142.00, the result of you all campaigning to raise $26K in 26 days for his birthday. As you saw, Ace was speechless and overwhelmed by the success and sincerity of your efforts. Congratulatons! These funds will assist in the construction of the Family Amenities Center enabling parents to be near their children while they are receiving treatment. We hugged many of you at the party, but consider this letter an extended hug from us to you...thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many families. We refer to all of you dedicated friends as "HighRollers" but we want to acknowledge the work you do as well through your own individual fan sites such as Youngville; AceYoung.net; Aceaholics; Ace Young Fan.net; Beanies Babes; Ace Young Fans; Club Ace 777; Rickey.org; Ace-Source; MJs Big Blog; Ace High; and Ace Young Chronicles. Wow!! Your combined efforts to date have raised over $54.000!

Several of Ace's Idol buddies showed up: Kathryn, Elliott, Lisa, and another close friend, Tha Vill; as well as other celebrities, Charles Manson, Frank Sinatra, Boy George, Dick Cheney and a host of others ...I'm kidding ...I'm kidding.

Following the party Ace caught an early morning flight to Louisville, Kentucky...slept on the plane ...where he conducted radio interviews and then performed a set that night with Peter Thorn on acoustic guitar. Man, audience responses to Ace, his music and his live performances are fantastic! Here is the link to a really cool version of Scattered from Louisville...you know how to cut and paste to your browser, eh?

BE SURE to check out the Ace Young Calendar for 2007!! Once again, you all delivered Big Time!!

What a great story. Each month's picture has been selected from hundreds of photos of Ace submitted by you fans so this is truly your creation. The price is $20 per with all proceeds going to Children's Hospital. Lots of folks are buying several to distribute as Christmas gifts. Terrific idea. The Calendar carries a "G" rating (no bare pecs) so it is safe for kids and grandparents, too (no heart attacks)! One of our Boulder friends has been informed by her daughter that, if she did not receive one of these calendars for Christmas, she would call Social Services!! Our goal is to move 3000 of these puppies. So, spread the word!

Here's how to order:

By going through the HighRollers with Heart website's calendar page (Link here), there are a number of easy ways to pay:

~~When you click 'click to order' on that page, you are taken to the hospital's secure server where you can pay by credit card, debit card, online check, or paypal.

~~ALSO on the same hospital server page is an option to print a PDF form that you can MAIL in with your payment - check, money order, or credit card info - if you prefer not to pay online.

~~Or, you can PHONE in your order at: 303-861-6887 and state the purpose of your call.

~~Also, the calendars will be for sale at the TCH gift shop, effective this Wednesday or Thursday.

~~Finally, if you're in the Boulder area, you can arrange to get calendars from Jay or Kay Young (our Mom and Dad).

Hey, hey, hey--for those of you who subscribe to People Magazine--you received a Special Holiday Edition this week and Ace is in it on page 53. He's shown at Christmas at age 13 months. Frankly, I didn't think he was so cute then and, if you could see him at 6 AM as I do, you wouldn't understand all the fuss now either. Honestly, I was a much cuter baby and I'll just leave it at that!

We have a jam-packed couple of months ahead so check out Acemusic.com for our schedule. Ace has mentioned that he would sign your Calendars if you catch him at a performance anywhere in the country. I expect this to be a collector's item in five years as it is Ace's first calendar and it will mark the launch of a remarkable career filled with huge success and abundant giving.

We can't wait to go home for Christmas and to be with our folks, nephews and nieces, brothers and sisters and friends. This is our favorite time of the year. We go caroling for hours on Christmas Eve and then to the Hospital on Christmas Day. Oh! Our brother Marc and his wife Dre had a baby girl. All I can say is that it's a good thing Marc married a gorgeous woman because baby Aspen Elizabeth is beautiful! Marc has always maintained jokingly that he was the best looking of us boys but, believe me, Dre is a step up from all of us. Congrats to them. Also, congrats to our Mom and Dad who will celebrate their 40th Anniversary in December.

We love all you guys and, as we begin this Holiday Season, we wish you and your loved ones the most joyous of times. Continue to strengthen all those around you with your love as you have strengthened us this past year. You're the BEST!!!

Your loyal friend, Ryan

P.S. Please spread this around to as many literate and illiterate friends as you can find. We have interpreters available!!
