I've been doing recaps of American Idol Extra, which airs weekly on the Fox Reality Channel and DirecTV 101, for one of my Yahoo groups. There were some pretty cool/interesting Ace mentions on tonight's show, so I wanted to share them here.....
During an interview backstage Wednesday after the results show, Ryan Seacrest said that he could hear Ace's heart beating before he performed his song that night (see, we knew he was scared!). Ryan also said that he knew Simon was wrong about Ace going home because he knew the results already but Simon didn't.
During a pre-recorded interview, Dean (the hair guy) said that Ace's hair is simple -- he "likes to whip it around" and keeps it "long for the ladies."
When asked, "What do you think of Queen's music?" Ace answered, "Powerful, ahead of their time."
When asked to describe Simon Cowell, Ace said, "Grounded, sincere." (I'm guessing this was filmed before Simon trashed him on Tuesday's show lol)
When asked to describe Bucky, Ace said, "Down to Earth."
My favorite part: When asked, "Who do you think of when you sing a love song?" Ace answered, "A person that I haven't met, the person that's supposed to be with me." Awwwwww!!!!!!!!!
