5. Ace - I Wanna Cry
I started watching the show tonight hoping that Ace would bomb, so he'd be the one going home. He didn't bomb, but I still hope he goes home. That falsetto, at least, should be banned from all future songs he ever sings. As Randy said, it was boring. To Ace's credit, he didn't point or gesture, and the stares into the camera were minimal. Thank goodness for small favors!

Idol Ramblings:
This was an interesting show. It wasn't as awful as last week, but the country theme wasn't conducive to memorable performances by our Idols, either. I was glad to see Kellie and Bucky do relatively well, and it made my night to finally have an episode without a hard rock song. Ace didn't do badly, but I still feel he is the weakest singer remaining in the competition. I predict he will be in the bottom 3. As for who will join him.... hmmm.... this is tough. I'll go out on a wide limb and guess it will be Taylor and Mandisa. That is based solely on last night's performances, not on their fan bases. We're due for more surprises, and this is Idol after all, where anything can (and usually does) happen. I can't wait until tonight to find out!!
