LINK(11) ACE: “In the Still of the Night”
Another one that I thought would get sung. Right off the bat I am bugged by his nasality. This is when I realized he reminds me of arrogant what’s his face from CI. When you go from Elliott’s tone to Ace’s it’s like, man… From the “God I pray” section on, we got our guy who sang “Father Figure” back. There was a really nice key change and held note jump. Parts of this are the best he has ever sounded, and this is definitely his second best performance ever. Ace is back, and I wrote it down before Randy said it. His held falsetto was better in the rehearsal play back, but was still better than his falsetto has ever sounded. The kid has got to just stand still and sing!
Last week: 9/20
This week: Performance: 9/10 Vocal: 7.5/10 TOTAL: 16.5/20
Fifties week rocked!!!!! I loved it! I hope this doesn’t mean we don’t get big band, cause man I love that too! All in all, everyone turned in a SOLID performance, but three were pretty weak. How do they stack up? And would Jasmine Trias and Lindsey Cardinele, both who were in the audience, even have made it on this season? (Last to first)

Much changed this evening, as Ace and Katharine both moved up 6 whole spots. Chris and Elliott basically swapped spots, Paris retained her position. AND! TAYLOR DROPPED 8 SPOTS! What a fall.
