ACE YOUNG: “Do I Do”

“Do I Do” was a good song for Ace to choose. I like this much, much better than the whiny falsetto dung he’s been slinging recently. It is fun and upbeat and gives him a chance to sing in his actual voice and give us some candy honeysuckle chocolate dripping kisses through our TVs. Yeah, baby! The dancing and stage presence are great, BUT. o­nce more, when I look away from the screen and just LISTEN, the voice itself is lacking. Especially for the “winner” Ace has been predicted to be. FASHION REPORT: After Katharine was done at the A & P last week, she lent her outfit to Ace. Black henley and jeans with some low-top sneaks. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Randy likes his energy but thinks he was just aiight. Paula totally disagrees because she is just going to tell everyone they are great tonight. Simon acknowledges that the audience liked him but observes that they must be easily pleased. Because that wasn’t his best work and he’s going to have to do better.
