Those are good ones - unfortunately too close to the truth.

We own a small trucking company and the fuel costs are unbelievable. If you think gas is expensive, you should try buying diesel fuel. It runs about 80c gal. more than gas. Many independent truckers have had to give up their livelihood and sell their trucks because they can't afford the fuel. I read about one trucker who went to the pump and only got about 1/3 tank - enough to get the load delivered and back - and that partial tank cost him over $250.

Im unemployed, so yeah I can imagine what truckers are going through. I've been running on empty for three days now, and I even put in two gallons from the LAWNMOWER gas can to avoid having to get it at the station. Because now gas is up to $3.53 here in Pittsburgh for just regular 87

They are still predicting $4.00 gal by June so I guess any road trips I might have been considering are out the window. "sigh"
