I am not sure where I read this but are they doing Beatle songs every week?

Hmm - that can't be right. As much as I love the Beatles, it would get a bit boring to hear their songs EVERY week. Maybe they meant they finally got permissions for Beatles songs that would fit into other themes? Like the 70's or whatever?

I just read that this Tuesday is in fact Lennon/McCarthy Songbook 2. I hope that is it.

That's what I heard too from the AI newsletter. Much as I love Lennon/McCartney songs, I hope this is the last of them. Maybe they'll allow the contestants to choose something of their own the next week - Top 10?

Apparently I wasn't paying much attention to the elimination show, because after watching parts of it with the family later, Ryan said on the show Wednesday that this week would be Lennon/McCartney Songbook Part 2. :doh:
