Wednesday night the girls take the stage again for the last semi-final round. Comment on the girls in this thread.

Top 8 Girls :sleep:

Asia'H Epperson - "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" - I thought it was fun, good vocal. I thought she should have made it through, although by now we know she didn't.

Kady Malloy - "Who Wants to Live Forever" (Queen) - it was a very difficult song to sing and she was missing notes. I didn't hear it as horrible but her exit was already penciled in, and indeed she did leave.

Amanda Overmyer - "I Hate Myself for Loving You" - much better than last week. She really rocked it. But - while Simon was railing Kady for not having personality, Amanda is the one without it. (Hence their asking her to smile - she also barely talks and when she does, she sounds disinterested).

Carly Smithson - "I Drove All Night" - Very good vocal, but IDK - I am having trouble liking her.

Kristy Lee Cook - "Faithfully" - It was pretty good.

Ramiele Malubay - "Against All Odds" - It was good vocally but I was bored. Wish she had picked another song.

Brooke White - "Love Is A Battlefield" - This was a slow, more folksy version of this rock song and I really liked it.

Syesha Mercado - "Saving All My Love For You" - It was good, but I wish they would ban all Whitney songs from the song list.

I was mostly bored - hope the Top 12 is more entertaining.
