For me, I can't remember seeing such a strong reaction to being booted as we saw from Alaina. It was good to see her come back enough to sing.

Additionally, I was disappointed to see Amanda Overmyer survive. This week's performance was pretty bad. This was the first time I've seen her that I felt she just really cannot sing. I do not agree that she is contrived though. I think she is a true rocker. Her hair this week was a mess. It looked like she stood in front of a wind machine and then just sprayed it down. I liked her hair in the contrast of colors, but this style was more Munsters than rocker.
