But when it gets to the point of harrassing a 17 year old like this, it’s time to step back and look at the big picture. It’s just a show - and as last season proved, even if the worst wins, it’s not the end of the world. The cream always rises to the top. Chris outsold Taylor and will have a much, much more successful career. Katharine and Kellie will have better careers than Taylor - as will Ace Young if he ever gets busy!

Actually Katharine's album is tanking and they were practically giving away Kellie Pickler's cd. Taylor won American Idol fair and square, and they are punishing him it seems because they tried to manipulate it so that Chris won. And I'm very much doubting Ace will EVER been in the same league as Chris or even Elliot and Taylor.

As for the Sanjaya thing. Seventeen or not the kid is a moron and is talentless and kind of ugly. I'm not sure if they are promoting a gay/transvestite character with this kid or what..But there is something ridiculously fishy going on with his whole remaining on the show. I actually think I believe Simon WILL quit if he makes the Top 3 or higher. I mean even Pickler and Covais had SOME sort of bizarre talent. And it is very sad when TWO of the famous musicians you have worked with basically say nicely how much you suck.
