Thanks for posting them! I saw a couple I liked but no one has grabbed my attention like Ace did last season. I will always watch AI, but I doubt that any season will ever compare to season 5!

Did they purposely get people who were the complete opposite of last year? Or are we spoiled by Ace, Chris, Bucky and Elliot? Yes I know I left out the winner but I don't care for him.

From what I've been able to find out, his name IS Sundance - Jason Sundance Head. "Hey, my parents were hippies. What can I say?" His dad was popular in the 60's. He was known for his wild dance moves. (Sundance says he does NOT dance.) Here is a clip of Roy Head singing his hit from 1965 "Treat Her Right':

How very cool! I noticed that we have 2 Illinois girls -- Gina is from Naperville!

Yep!:) Also, Naperville isn't that far from me. I hope one or both girls go even farther in this.

This is what I think about tonights. Most of them I thought were okay. Out of all of them I liked Blake's performance the best. Rudy & Sanjaya I thought did bad.

My 2 favorites tonight were Phil and Blake.

Rudy - sings well, but that wasn't the right song for AI - didn't show us anything.

Brandon - he has a nice tone, but I was not moved.

Sundance - he was pitchy and I was not impressed.

Paul Kim - just average. The beginning was too 'breathy' and he missed the falsetto ("Oh, Ace!")

Chris R - he was fun - credit to him for changing it up. Very JT-ish but not as good.

Nick - sweet but no excitement

Blake - very nice - refreshing. Liked it a lot.

Sanjaya - nice voice. Needed to own the song more, but he was not as bad as the judges made out.

Chris S - good voice. The jabs at Simon will NOT help him.

Jared - good voice but went pitchy several times

AJ - he as fun to watch and did well

Phil - started out very iffy but really brought it home in the end. good job
