Katherine McPhee released her first album which debuted at #2 with sales of 116,000, well behind #1 Norah Jones' latest (405,000).

Directly after Kat is a still-strong Chris Daughtry at #3 with another 77,000 and well over 1 million sold. His video of "It's Not Over" has been #1 on the VH1 Countdown for the last 3 weeks running.

The Idol winner, Taylor, on the other hand, has dropped out of the Top 50 altogether - to #76 with just 12,000 sold in its 8th week. :rolleyes:

Meanwhile, Elliott Yamin is nearing the release of his new CD, due on the market March 20th. Check out his first single and snippets of some other songs from his new CD here on AOL.

well, I am happy for Chris....have to admit that I never had the McPhever, not really into her....Taylor not getting the sales, huh? Not really surprised. I am however looking forward to Elliott's CD, I loved to hear him sing. He is looking real good, I had heard that he got his teeth fixed, that is great! I am glad that he and Ace still keep in touch and are good friends! After Ace got kicked off I was rooting for Elliott. GO E MAN! :bliss:

AOL had the link up to listen to all of Kat's CD last week, I think it was, and I tried to, truly I did, but it was pretty awful except for a couple of songs.

From what I've been reading, Chris's tour is going really well and I'm happy for him too. Unfortunately, he's not really coming very near me this time, so I'll have to miss him. :(

I love Elliott's single and think it should do very well. Gotta support my homie! :thumbsup: And Diamonds, I agree he's looking pretty good these days.

Aarykay, I attempted to vote for Elliott after Ace was eliminated but no matter how hard I tried, I was never able to get through.

Taylor's sales (or lack thereof) don't really surprise me. Sorry, but I never was a fan. :duck:
