You can post your comments on the Audition shows in this thread.
Only 17 people went through to Hollywood from Minneapolis (the first show on Tuesday, January 16, 2007). As usual, we saw very little talent unless you are including comedy acts. :P
OK - we HAVE to comment on Minneapolis and BRENNA. She was on in the last half-hour and named our ACE as her favorite Idol. I have actually met this girl a couple of times. I had no idea if she could sing or not but now I know. :no: :thumbsdown:
She had Ace sign her wrist and then had it tattooed on permanently (I saw the newly completed tat in person). I was there when she showed it to Ace for the first time. He was sweet as he always is but you could see the 'surprise' on his face when she showed it to him. :o
Anyone else have any comments on this show? We'd love to hear it.

I was there too that day. I knew it was her right away. I thought maybe it would be cool for her to be on but she's one of the bad ones. I've only seen a couple ones that are okay, nothing special so far.

To tell you the truth, I was actually ashamed that she was an Ace fan! It was HORRIBLE!! And when she said Ace was her favorite, Simon was like "Who?", I would love to smack that man across the face and tell him to wake up and recognize our boi.

I have to agree...no one has really impressed me. Maybe I feel different towards all of it since I have already found MY idol with ACE! He rocks my world! :ace6:

Anyone watching the auditions -- do you remember Ashlyn Carr in San Antonio? She was the one who seemed shy - had a nice voice - and only Simon liked her. She was not sent through and left in tears. I know I felt bad for her. Then they called her back, gave her another chance, and sent her through.
It seems that now there is a question about her status on the show. In typical Idol fashion, an arrest has popped up on her. This one happened AFTER her audition. I do not know the exact charge they leveled against her but apparently she poured sugar in her ex-boyfriend's gas tank.
Seems to me like a juvenile thing to do, but if she pays for the damages, not a reason to be booted from Idol.
Anyone have an opinion?
