I know SCATTERED (lol) throughout the forum are members re-caps of meeting Ace. I thought it would be nice to start a thread to discuss what was the one thing that stood out when you met him?

So what was it?

The first time I met him what stood out for me was his aura. I mean he wasn't even by me and I was frozen in my tracks, just by him being in the same area. I was starting to hypervenilate (sp) and get all fan-girlyish. By the time he got to where I was standing, I was comatose. He asked me my name and I just stood there, he had to ask me twice, then when he asked me how it's spelled he goes T I N A, I just looked at him and he had to give me the well look. I was a total dork the first time I met him.

The second time was just as bad, although the first thing I noticed was the smile. The whole drive up to Bridgeport CT I was saying what I was going to say and do. Big bad Leavingmyhubby4Ace was a little sissy when she got by him. He asked who was next for the picture and I just raised my hand.

The third and final time was WB. There I noticed his eyes. When I spoke to him, this time my nerves were in check, his eyes were on me the whole time. I even told him that this was my third trying for a good pic with him and this time it better turn out........LOL

You have to meet him. I have met him 8 ( or is it 9 ) times now and he is an absoulute doll. He even remembered my name this last time......I almost passed out LOL

I would hope to get through one meeting with him! I tend to get flushed very easily! I feel flushed just looking at the man! I want to see those eyes so badly!!!! I guess I am hoping for the impossible!!! He is truly a stunning man! Some woman will be very lucky to have him! :wub:

I met him while he was on the Edy's Ice Cream tour and talked to him for about ten minutes, got two wonderful hugs, a picture with him (which I will NOT post here), and an autographed mini-poster. He was so very warm, sincere, and genuine. And those eyes! Not to mention everything else.

He is definitely everything we think he is.

Tina, nope. You are NOT the only one on here who has met Mr. Ace Young.

The first time for me was August 11, 2006, at the AI Tour in Columbus. He not only signed my poster I'd made for him, he ASKED if he could sign it in TWO places.......LOL

I gave him a present and later that evening, he WORE it during Patience.

He also sang, at my request, to my Mom, a snippet of BUTTERFLIES, she almost fell to the concrete. LOL

Second time meeting him was Christmas, in Cleveland Ohio at the Acoustic Concert in December, 2006. GREAT SHOW and great BENEFIT Concert. Didnt get a chance to talk with him much, but did get to give him a kiss (TWICE) and get pictures taken.

Third time...........in Columbus, Ohio again, at the Cingular Store. I also met Ryan that day. Pictures, and I gave Ace some of his favorite candies...........and was totally fangurly! LOL

Yes, all I had to do was ask.............there were tons of people waiting to speak, get hugs or meet him, but he takes his time with you, as if you are the ONLY person there. :wub:

I just said, its my Moms birthday next month, and it would make her day if you could sing a snippet of Butterflies to her............he did it. GOD BLESS HIS LITTLE SOUL! I should say HUGE SOUL.

Also, as for the two kisses I gave him in Cleveland. I literally did not plan it, and it was just automatic. It wasnt a passionate kiss, but more like one family member kissing another family member. He looked a bit shocked, but not turned off. THANKFULLY!

I've met my Baby Boy 5 times now, and each time was wonderful & special all on it's own.

The 1st time was in Louisville KY, the AI tour. Got to talk to him befor & after the show... he got us backstage passes for after. Actually got to spend about 45 minutes with him backstage, and he was WONDERFUL. He took time to really listen to me, and I got probably 5 long, wonderful hugs... all but 1 of them were ACE'S idea!! :wub:

2nd meeting also Louisville, the day after his birthday at 4th Street Live. It ad been 3 months since I met him *1* time, and HE saw ME walking down the street... I was deep in conversation and walked right past him, and HE yelled at me and greeted me with a big, wam hug like a long lost friend. Got 3 hugs and 4 kisses that night, including one time kissing his ear :blink: and ended up catching his cold, which turned into bronchitis. Thanks Ace. :unsure:

3rd meeting, Cleveland Dec. 8. FANTASTIC show!! Got a couple hugs, he was so tired that night.

4th meeting, Cincy ice cream stop. Very brief meeting, super sweet as always, got a pic of him wearing my cowboy hat :drool: and he said something to me that meant the world to me.

5th meeting, Cincy again, AT&T M&G. GREAT time, kinda hung out with him the whole 2 hours. Kissed his cheek, several hugs, FINALLY was able to get a good huggy pic:


If you haven't met him... do anything in your power to do so. He is such a special guy. :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub:

July 27th in Pittsburgh was the first time Ace and I met...ALSO the first time I met Ryan :) Then CT and WB with Tina (and our little Bisa..aka Lisa)..December with Claud, Lisa, Anna, Lori and that bunch (Kissed him twice here too, but only because our FIRST kissy picture didn't show up)..Grand Rapids in january..and then...Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Columbus for the Cingular tour. I kissed him in Columbus as well...as if I was saying goodbye to one of my friends, and I just SWACK right on the cheek! We stared at each other and he was like "Well, for you, that was weird. And right in front of Ryan!!"


I also think- though its undocumented Jamie from Cingular and Nikki from Cleveland saw!- am I the FIRST fan to kiss Ryan..lmfao

You are one lucky lady! I think he is one of the finest men on the planet! I want to see him so bad and hopfully talk to him! How did you get through it! I would probably be like a deer in headlights! :D

You would be surprised at how comfortable Ace makes you feel. He is truly a gentle spirit, and makes you feel welcome and very much loved. I simply cannot say enough good things about him. He is so much more than just good looks and a beautiful voice. He is as beautiful inside as he outside.

I would be nervous if I was close to him! He would make me nervous! don't know why, but I would be! He is gorgeous! I feel like I got a school girl crush!!! Ha!Ha! He is really talented and he looks like a sweet spirit! Would love to see him someday! :wub:

We all know how gorgeous he is -- but I have to say, when you see him in person for the first time, it can literally take your breath away. In real life, his beauty is ethereal; he almost seems to glow, like there is an aura about him that is hard to explain, but amazing to see. It must be because his inner beauty (which is greater than his outer beauty if that can be believed) just exudes through his skin and makes him appear angelic. All I can say is --- WOW. :thud:

But then you realize that hes got a HUGE head and big ears ;) That made me feel better and laugh. I guess to me Ive never been nervous around him or felt surreal because to me he sometimes looks like a really tall little kid. Its his naievety that does that though I think.
