"Let's say, if you try to have an intimate evening, like with a girl you're interested in, it's impossible," Young says. "But at the same time, you don't want it to go away. You want people to say when you walk by, 'When you're singing 'Butterflies,' it's so important to me.'

During the show, Young's selections include "Father Figure," which was released on the "American Idols" compilation album. "And I do special things to grab your attention," Young says. "I'm really trying to warm you up to my style of writing."

That individual style will be showcased on his upcoming solo album. He says three major labels have expressed interest in releasing the record.

"It'll include some very creative writing that includes some secrets about me that have remained a mystery, even with the Internet," Young says.

Young's life already includes a connection with a fan club called Ace's High Rollers with Heart, a charity that's trying to raise $1.5 million to build a family reception area for Denver's Children's Hospital.

"I've been doing charity work for eight years. Now I get to do it on the biggest scale in the world," Young says. "I think my future fans will be happy with my moral beliefs. Family first. And my music."

Current fans can visit his page at www.myspace.com/aceyoung and try to keep in touch with their idol.

"Go to the Web page, and you get me," he says. "I get back to as many (fans) as I can, until my eyes go blurry."
