So that's where they were before the late night/early morning visit to the Waffle House in Belmont.
I was at Coyote Joe's Tuesday night. I hung out near the chained off area where Ace, Elliot, and Bucky were watching Taylor's performance. I did get some time with Ace. When I finally got face to face with him, I told him that I didn't want a picture with him. I just wanted a hug because I was unable to give him one when I met him at the M&G 2 weeks ago. Of course he obliged. He then asked me if I had enjoyed the show. I told him that I did. It was wonderful. Then I pulled out my cell phone and showed him the pic of him that I had taken at the M&G I had attended. (I had taken the pic with my digital cam, printed it out, and then I used my cell to take a pic of the picture, and saved it as the wallpaper on my cell phone.) He smiled, laughed, and then said, "That's awesome! That is a great picture!" I told him that I thought so too and then we parted ways.
He is an EXCELLENT hugger.
Did you know any of them were going to be there or was it a coincidence? It's great you got to meet him twice! (And I can't begin to tell you how jealous I am. :P )

The only thing I knew beforehand was that LiMBo, Taylor Hicks's former band, was playing a show at Coyote Joe's in Charlotte, NC, Tuesday night August 1st, from 10pm-2am, and a "special guest' was scheduled to perform with them. The AI tour just "happened" to be rolling into Charlotte, NC on August 1st, so you really didn't have to work very hard to figure out who the "special guest" was going to be.
After reading that LiMBO was going to perform and a "special guest" was going to join them, it really wasn't very hard to figure out that Taylor was going to show up. Then I kind of just felt that wherever one Idol goes, others are bound to show up. Honestly, Ace likes to go out and hit the bar/club/dance scene after a concert, if time permits. So I just had a feeling that if any of the other Idols were going to show up, my money was on Ace. And thank god that I did not change my mind about going!!!
