Title: Project Runway
AceOfDiamonds - July 18, 2006 12:35 AM (GMT)
I am a Project Runway junkie. I even watch reruns of the current week's shows. LOL There has been only one episode this season (#3) and one designer eliminated, so if anyone wants to start watching, it isn't too late.
Too early for me to pick a favorite, but an interesting bunch.

As with RockStar, if I tried to watch, my husband would have me committed! :D He just doesn't get the reality show thing.

I love Project Runway. I wanted Nick to win last season. For some reason I just loved him. I also started to watch Project Jay, he is so over the top............I can't get enough of him.

Yeah - I am watching reruns of the reruns now. LOL
In Season 1, I liked Austin Scarlett. What a character! In Season 2, I liked Daniel. He was so classy. I was glad he made it to Fashion Week. This year, I have no fave yet -- want to see what they come up with first. I'm not sure what to think abiout Vincent - he might be brilliant, he might be nuts. LOL I felt bad for the guy who was eliminated this week - Mulan or something like that. His garment clearly was the worst, but given more time, it may have been great. He said he never had many friends so his interaction with the others meant a lot to him. I wished he could have stayed longer.

I'm addicted! I didn't start watching until halfway through last season, but I'm completely hooked. I always watch those day-long marathons, haha!
AceOfDiamonds - August 24, 2006 02:00 PM (GMT)
I watched the last season in the day-long marathon recently because it was fun to relive it. I really liked Daniel. Santino made me crazy. In the original airing, I missed Fashion Week! Can you believe it? So I was eager to see it in the marathon -- and missed Daniel again!~! :gah:
Who do you like this year? I have to say, no one has really captured me this season. Michael is obviously good. I miss the great personalities they have had in the past though.

I was so addicted to the last season marathons... everyone was so fun last year! I loved Daniel and Andre - and I was a Santino fan... probably because the first episode I saw was the one where he did the impression of Tim and I thought it was hilarious :giggle:
This season, I think both Michael and Kayne are good, but I'm not really attached to either of them the way I was last season. I'm kind of rooting for Vincent, just because he's entertaining and he's trying so hard... I don't think it's at all possible for him to win, but I want him to do well . Jeffrey is okay but he's just so rude... like last night, that was terrible.
I completely understand about there being a difference in personality this season... the show would be so boring if there wasn't the Vincent crazy factor or the constant Jeffrey/Angela drama

This is almost over - just 2 weeks left and a winner is chosen. For the first time, they did not reduce the designers' numbers from 4 to 3 - they put them all though. So we will get to see 4 full collections for Fashion Week. Can't wait!
The designers left are Uli, Laura, Michael, and Jeffrey.

I like watching this show! Some of the things they come up with is like :wtf: , but there are some good designers on there this season. I am looking forward to seeing who wins!
AceOfDiamonds - October 12, 2006 07:26 PM (GMT)
Oh man! AGAIN I forgot to watch on Wednesday night! Good thing this show repeats several times. "sigh" "Runs off to check TV Guide"

Anybody else disappointed in the winning designer? I did not care too much for most of his designs...some were a lil weird...and I didn't like him as a person, either. He was so rude and looked so greasy and unkempt all of the time! YUCK
AceOfDiamonds - October 24, 2006 02:56 PM (GMT)
I was pleased with his win. He was the most innovative of the 4. The ladies made beautiful clothes but there was nothing too original about them, and Michael's colection could have gone to Frederick's of Holywood. So I wa happy about it for once. I didn't like his personal style either, but the clothes are what counts.
